Unable To Install Drivers For A Lexmark Z615

I'm trying to install the Vista drivers for a Lexmark Z615 printer so I can use it with Windows 7 (Lexmark say the Vista drivers should work fine). However I get the following error in the event viewer, both when I use the Lexmark installer and when I try to add the driver manually:

I can`t install my printer because w7 says that a driver is absent. Then, w7 give me some suggestions, one of these is "install your printer with vista driver", but the result is the same.

Lexmark Z615 Printer Network Problem
i got a small home network (5 computers), and on it i have a Win2003 server (web,  file server, general storage, print server) and on this computer i have shared a lexmark z615 printer. Now to the Win7 machine, i do a add network printer, let it search the network, and then i pick...  MMMmmmm nothing to pick. Win7 doesnt even see the printer.  the 3 WinXP machines i have see and map and print to it just fine.

So what gives? i have tried mapping it win2003printer  Nope nothing....  is it a bug or BCAC error? (between chair and computer). i dont think win7 being x64 would stop me.  the only thing i have not tried to do add the printer and a local printer and in the field for port put win2003printer.

Lexmark Drivers
I recently installed Windows 7 7000/7022/7048, and also installed the 64bit drivers for my Lexmark X5150. The problem is i can't print sometimes, it comes in the printing dialog or It prints but when i send a second set it keeps saying deleting the first set. Or it does not print until I restart print spooler, and it starts printing the one that was "deleting". Its seems like Lexmark never learns.. I had this problem too in Vista.

Install Lexmark Z730 Printer Driver
I have a Lexmark z730 printer and I want to install that to Windows 7. Unfortunately Windows 7 does not support this printer. Is there any way I can make it work? I don't want to move to a different OS just to print something.

Drivers For Lexmark 4800 Series
Some months ago I bought a Lexmark 4800 series printer (scanner, fax) that I'm using with a Windows XP laptop, connected via wifi to my home router.

Now I'm trying to do the same with another laptop, this one with Windows 7, but I haven't been able to do it till now. I've even tried with an USB cord, with no success.

Lexmark Optra S 1625 Printer Drivers
I have contacted Lexmark and they claim that the OS has a compatable driver included. But, so far I have NOT been successful at adding the printer. The Optra S 1625 is currently shared by one of my XP PC's on my network. My new, Windows 7 PC, is finding the printer just fine, but is not able to locate an acceptalbe driver for it.

Perhaps, I am just not familiar enough yet with how to work with Windows 7 to get around the issue. I need some help. Lexmark claims that Windows 7 should have a compatable driver included with the OS ??

Asus P4PE Audio Drivers / Lexmark Z510 Printer
I'm sure they will eventually have drivers, but I figured I would post these anyway.  I have no sound on my Asus P4PE Motherboard.  I tried several ways to get around it, but no luck.  I also can't get my Lexmark Z510 Printer to work.  Windows 7 sees the printer and even calls it a Lexmark Z510, but alas, it won't install drivers for it.

Unable To Install ITunes
I have a new 64 bit computer with Windows 7 installed. I have downloaded iTunes64, but I cannot install it. I have tried to do so  from both the HDD and an external Disc Drive. As soon as I try to install it, I get a message  "This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application venodor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."

I cannot see any apple programs to uninstall, so I think the software is being blocked. I have not altered any Windows security settings from the original settings when I  bout the computer.

Unable To Install Realtek Driver
So I was playing Cod 4, had plenty of problems getting it to work, one of the problems was that I had to have the Mic plugged in to open the game, seriously the biggest wtf I've had.

But now I got another fresh problem. The game kept on crashing, I checked out what the problem was, and sure as hell, it was the sound card driver.

So I used some guide, uninstalled the driver I had, and downloaded the newest Realtek driver, that's supposed to support Windows 7, although when I try to install the driver er get..

"Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software", no matter how often I press "Install this driver software anyway" it keeps on poping up!!

How can I bypass this problem, or solve it?

Unable To See SATA Drives To Install O/S
I am trying to test and install Windows 7 on this computer but I am not having any luck I seeing the hard drives. I am using SATA drives and was trying to make a dual boot with XP Pro and Windows7. I have the disk burnt, and tried using DISKPART, but this didn’t see the hard drives either. I used GParted  Live and made  an Unallocated space of 80 gig to install Windows 7 on.

I then tried another install with Windows 7 disk and selected custom install, but I still can’t see the drives. I tried using the software disk to be able to see the drives but still no luck (Silicon Image Raid Sil3112 base configuration) Any ideas on this problem?

Unable To Install, No Error Message
I've been trying to get Windows 7 working for a couple days, without success. A friend of mine told me about this forum, so I figured I's try my luck and ask my fellow Windows users.

I have a valid, working copy of Windows 7 build 7000x32 on disk. The same disk has been used on other computers and works fine. However on my machine, it begins the installation just fine, until it reaches the blue Windows 7 background screen. Then it stops. No error, it just stops working.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I find it extremely frustrating.

Unable To Install Windows 7 DVD
I have recently purchase windows 7 home premium to replace my vista home premium. (32 bit) I have tried everything to get it to run on my laptop. iv updated the bios, checked the drivers, im a computer tech of sorts and I think iv tried everything. Even down to deleting filters for the dvd player in the registry. I know that my dvd player works as it runs other disks with programmes on. The disk is the full version, I am definatly booting from the dvd drive, i just get a black screen with a flashing cursor for a couple of minutes before it goes back to booting from the hdd.

Iv run the test programme to see if win 7 will work on my laptop and it says that it is within the criteria. I have also tried restoring vista to its origional state with the recovery disks , un installing the virus protection and then running the disk. The disk isnt even recognized in the drive. You can hear it trying to spin then it just stops. Iv tried loads of other disks including a bios update disk (which is a bootable disk) this ran fine.

Unable To Find Drivers
I have a new Windows 7 Pro 64, and Windows detects a Samsung 4828FN 3in1 printer and a Canon LIDE 80 scanner in "Devices & Printers" but appears to be unable to find drivers. I downloaded & installed Win 7 drivers from both mfg sites, but neither appears in their appropriate windows when called up. The scanner on the printer works and saves to files, so I know the USB connections are working. Canon Toolbox Settings cannot detect.

Of course the HP 1000 printer has no Win 7 drivers to download, so that one does not work either,

Also, when I try and select new printers from a "Print" drop-down menu, I get a message "The Active Directory Domain Sevices is Currently Unavailable"

Anyone have suggestions?

Unable To Install: Unattended File Error
I am trying to install with the downloadable executable from the student discount program, the files are located on an external hard drive.

I downloaded Windows 7 last night and started the install, it got up to the point where it checked for Vista SP1 and stopped. I had reinstalled Vista recentely and forgotten to install it.

I quit the Windows 7 install and installed SP1 for Vista. Now every time I try to launch the Windows 7 install I get the following error:

"The unattend answer file contains an invalid product key. Either remove the invalid key or provide a valid product key in the unattend answer file to proceed with Windows installation."

I tried deleting the temp file that was in the same directory as the install files for Windows 7 as well as deleting the expanded set up directory and letting it re unpack the files.

Error: 0x80300001 - Windows Is Unable To Install
I'm trying to install Windows 7 64 bit on one our computers that had XP 32 bit. I'm doing a clean install and have already formatted and partitioned the hard drive. The problem I'm having is that now it won't let me install windows 7. When you highlight the system partition it shows and error, which states, "Windows is unable to install to the selected location, Error: 0x80300001" I thought I might need a SATA driver for the hard drive but I haven't been able to locate the right one if thats the problem.

Unable To Install Device Driver Software
I have somewhat recently upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 but my problem occured after having Windows 7 for about a week. I am unable to use my wireless mouse as when I plug the sensor device into the usb port it recognizes it and attempts to install the driver software via searching for it on windows update, but it fails.

I originally had it working with windows 7 for a while until one night I shut it down with windows updates to install, then the next morning it failed when I tried to connect the wireless device. It is a logitech wireless mouse that was originally part of a keyboard/mouse combo but I'm just using the mouse portion as I have a laptop now.

Here are the things I've done and some conclusions that I've come to:

- I have uninstalled, reboot, reinstalled and updated everything in my device manager
Including updating the BIOS and Motherboard chipsets

- I have tried to get the updates from windows update manullay and it still fails

- I have gone to HP's website and installed every update on their for my computer, although its fairly new, 08/09 so there were only a few things to update.

- I have done multiple system restores to try and set the computer back before the problem was occuring

- I have tried powering off the computer and removing the battery and power sources as a type of full restart to the computer with no effect.

- I have gone to logitechs website and downloaded the latest setpoint version which still didn't help the wireless mouse work, unless there are other options in the software that I don't know about, I could use some information on that.

Finally I bought a new optical wireless mouse thinking that the problem might be its incompatibility with Windows 7 (even though it was working at one time) and the new wireless mouse had the same problem, plugged in the usb driver and the device software fails to install.

So the usb ports recognize the devices, as I have an external Harddrive that I attach via usb and that recognizes and works fine. I have also tried a flash drive that installs the software fine and works. My guess is that its not the usb ports directly but something with where windows installs the updates, I don't know if its been cluttered with stuff that it can't install anymore or what. But I am out of ideas and have searched all over the internet for answers.

Unable To Install Canon Rebel XT Camera
Both the Windows Compatibility and Canon Compatibility sites state the Rebel XT is compatible with Windows 7. That is, no drivers need be downloaded.

The EOS utility which is used to establish communications between the Rebel XT and Windows 7 is only good for Vista and previous Windows operating systems (I tried it anyway with no luck, then removed it and conducted a shutdown - not a restart - to remove any traces).

When I plug the camera into the USB port the following appears: "Device detected, installing drivers" followed by "Device drivers not successfully installed". The Windows 7 troubleshooting utility comes up with "No drivers found".

On the other hand, my Canon Powershot SD950 IS was simply plug and play like the Rebel XT is supposed to be.

Any ideas?

Unable To Create Folder Error Install
