Default Webcam Drivers
currently have Windows 7 RC 64bit installed but have come across only one problem so far. A webcam i have that was pretty cheap and cheerful had appauling drivers that came with it but when installed on 32bit vista with the drivers vista found itself it worked awesomely, even better than when it was using the drivers that came with the hardware. But the thing is after plugging it in on Windows 7 there doesnt appear to be a compatible driver for basic cam fuctionality.

Drivers For Logitech Webcam Zoom
I have a Logitech Webcam Zoom (the white and blue model). It is USB connected. Windows 7 only detects it as unknown USB device. I found some discussion on the internet for a workaround..... - install an old driver/softwer - then install a new driver/software With that, I now have the webcam detect/showup correctly on Device Manager. The webcam seems to be functioning ok with the Logitech Quick Capture software. But I couldn't get it to work with LiveMessenger. Any idea?

Philips Webcam Drivers Not Supported
I have a webcam that worked decently in windows xp. Sadly it's a cheap Phillips model whose website says vista drivers won't be supported. I'm wondering if there is any way to get the xp driver to work for it. I've been hearing alot about this "xp mode", might it work for hardware too or is it just a virtual environment for software? Is it a lost cause? Is there perhaps a way to install the xp driver files by hand? I'm hoping that the installer just doesn't put them in the right place ... or are there innate differences in how a webcam driver would work from xp to Win7? I'm running the 64bit RC from the microsoft site... 7100 i guess.

Configuration Screen Of Trust 5.1 Surround USB Headset HS-6400 Can't Be Accessed
I'm having a problem with Trust's 5.1 Surround USB Headset HS-6400. I'm using Windows 7 RC 64-Bit on a PC that features Core2Duo E7200 processor (2.53 GHZ), Nvidia 9500GT graphics card, and 3GB RAM of main memory I've installed the Vista 64-bit version of the drivers for the headset (32-Bit version seems to be the same file) but I can't access device settings. When i click on the USB 3D Sound Configuration Icon on Control Panel, everything stops responding, except the mouse's cursor.Every key on the keyboard or place I click using the mouse makes absolutelly no effect. No error message appears, and only way to restart the PC is by using reset button Device/Drivers below: http://www.trust.com/products/product.aspx?artnr=15365&cxt=drivers

Fix Drivers For W7 X64
I have a Minolta QMS laser printer (GDI) and I really like and I was able to use it with Windows Vista 32bit and also Windows 7 32bit. I changed to Windows 7 64 bit because I wanted to do Virtualization and added more memory to my PC so I can do this, everything I installed worked just fine except for my printer. The last drivers Minolta got out for this printer is for Windows XP but I was able to use until now with no problems at all, even with windows 7 32bit works great. Here is where my problem comes, I believe its possible to make the correct changes to the inf file for the driver to work with 64bit but I dont know about programing drivers, I tried and no luck with my lack of knowledge, so I am asking for help here for someone that knows this stuff, this driver package is very small (2.44mb) and I think it should be easy to fix. I contacted Minolta but because this is a faced-out printer they dont want to do anything about it. I really love this printer and I need to keep it..

Linksys Wireless X64 Drivers
I have the linkys wireless g usb network adapter, its very popular, but doesn't get along well with linux or x64 os's. Since the install of the RC ive been crashing, and it turned out to be the wireless adapters fault, so i thought back to when i had to get it working with linux, i was pretty sure their were x64 drivers. Ralink chipsets based wireless devices SOME of the linksys wireless adapters have a "Ralink" chip in them, you can find 64 bit drivers for some of the adapters. I downloaded the one i needed (the first) and installed the software. I then went to update the drivers i had for the wireless adapter and was more than happy to find out that "Ralink Linksys Wireless 54g USB Network Adapter" right under the current 32 bit driver. after you install the software go to Start > Contro Panel > Hardware And Sound > Device Manager > Network Adapters > Double click your current wireless device, > Driver Tab > Update Driver Software > Browse My Computer > Let Me Pick, > Select The RaLink Driver And their ya go!

Force Unsigned Drivers X64
I have an OCZ mouse driver that I would prefer to use over the standard windows HID driver as it supports extra button configuration. Unfortunately it isn't signed. Does anyone know a good way of overriding the signature enforcement in Win7 x64? The solutions I have seen either require using the boot-loader menu every time you start windows or using rather dubious third-party software - neither of which seem to be good solutions...

Logitech Quickcam X64 (11.90) Drivers Issue
I have tried to install the latest Logitech Quickcam x64 (11.90) drivers in compatibillity mode on Win7 x64 RC: Just before the the installation finishes the Windows Explorer crashes leaving me allone with the installation: Before asking a reboot the installation tests the camera and it works. After a reboot explorer still crashes forcing me to do a system restore: I wonder about this explorer crash behaviour: In Vista there where many explorer crashes where the explorer shell just quits and starts a new clean instance of itself. That is a little bit different in the Win7 RC: If the explorer crashes it will also crash after a reboot. Does this mean that we have to throw away our "Designed for WIndows Vista" hardware peripherals (Scanners, Webcams, TV-Card) and purchase new "Designed for Windows7" models?
