Unable To Use Tv Tuner Avermedia98 (bt848/878) On 64bit Windows 7

i have a problem with my old pci Avermedia98 tv tuner with bt848 or 878 chip. I have been using this tv tuner in windows xp and in windows 7 32bit version(manual installation of drivers in device manager). Now i have installed 64bit Windows 7 and i cant make my tv tuner to work. I did manage to install Audio and Video capture drivers in device manager and i have no more yellow alert signs in there. But when i try to watch tv on tuner application it says that a Capture filter is missing(error: can not locate capture filter) i guess i need this capture filter driver for 64bit windows 7 and than force install it in device manager. I did already tried many drivers from lots of driver web sites, i tried Hauppauge drivers and the drivers i used on 32 bit windows 7. Nothing works.

I have a Sabrent TV-USB20 and running Windows 7 Ultimate x64bit on my PCinstalled the driver for my platform on Sabrent USAall 3 options, tried one after another, I installed them on my computer, but still after this, the computer does not recognize the device.I go to install manually through Add Hardware or device manager and Windows says that the driver is not compatible with windows 7 64bit (even when I'm installing driver for Windows 7).

Now that Windows 7 RC Came out, the Theater 550 Card doesn't work. I tried the Hauppauge card and it also has issues with Windows 7 (Freezes all the time). What card is recomended by Microsoft.

It seems as much time and money I throw at the RC, Media Center doesnt work in Windows 7. Worked awesome in Vista (I'm going back to vista... ewww) It's supposed to enable awesome television for the home, you would think there would be some decent cards out there that anyone could buy at Best Buy or Fry's.

I have a USB TV Tuner which works fine to watch TV in WMC. However, when a programme is set to record, and my laptop goes into sleep mode, I believe it turns off the USB TV Tuner, and therefore the programme doesn't record. WMC support center says that the program is able to record when the computer is in sleep so I know it is not the program which is the issue.
