Conflict Between USB Input Device And Digital Receiver?
Apr 30, 2012I do use a online USB foot pedal that is used for transcription. I have two plugs powering the system, one for the monitor and the other to the CPU, connected to a extension cord with 5 sockets. To the rest of the sockets I had my DTH (digital tv receiver) and a small tv connected. With this setup, when I am working with my footpedal, it works for 1/2 an hour with proper play, rewind, and forward controls. After 1/2 an hour, it starts acting weird and begins to control itself in that it plays stops rewinds continuously by itself making it difficult for me. At first I thought it is driver issue and reinstalled and installed and tried all methods. I do get lot of errors at such times if I change the USB port for the pedal during the times of this issue. However, the moment I switch the DTH off from the power source. It all seemed to be working fine again without any issue.
Considering that, I thought it may be due to some voltage problem with distribution of power and I connected the DTH set seperately out to an entirely different AC wall socket but same room. Again, for the first half an hour the pedal controls works fine, and then the same thing happens and the moment I switch the DTH receiver off, its all back to normal.

All sound comes out digitized when loading a new page.Is there a way to stop this from happening while listening to music or course material without gong back to analog?Can I have my digital CD quality and enjoy it too!

Nov 11, 2009I have installed Windows 7 home premium retail and have just added a Peak 221544AGPK DVB-T digital tv pci card. Unfortunately the card wont work and the driver wont install.
When I plug the card in to my PCI slot windows finds new hardware on reboot but this is the result.
My motherboard is the gigabyte GA-EX58 UD5 with an i7 920 cpu.
If i remove the card the unknown device dissapears so i know it is the tv card. Is there a way to fix this problem and get the tv card to work.
Tried to install the driver but the driver reports that the hardware cannot be found.
Tried the tv card in another pc and it works just fine.

Jan 15, 2012I have a HP Pro 3300 Series MT i3-2100 PC. It came pre-installed with Windows 7 Pro 32-bit. On the product key sticker it states 'Windows 7 Pro OA'. I have checked the 'Performance Information and Tools' section in Windows and it states that my PC is 64-bit capable.My PC was bundled with 4 HP Recovery Manager discs, but these all state 'This disc contains 32-bit software'. I want to upgrade my RAM to 8GB so would like to install a 64-bit version of Windows 7.I would like to know if it is possible for me to do a clean install of Windows 7 Pro 64-bit downloaded from the Digital River website and activate it with my 'Windows 7 Pro OA' product key. I am aware that a product key can be used for both 32-bit and 64-bit installations as long as they are the same version of Windows 7, but can a OEM product key of Windows 7 Pro activate a copy of Windows 7 Pro downloaded from the Digital River site? (which I guess would be the retail version.)Also, my computer is partitioned into 3 drives. C: - containing the Windows operating system etc. D: - An empty drive of about 200gb, and O: - HP Recovery Drive.If I am doing a clean install of Windows 7, is it possible to retain the partitions and only wipe the C: drive during re-installation, allowing me to move any data I wish to keep to the D: drive in advance, or will it all be destroyed and I'll need to move all data to be retained onto external media beforehand?

Jun 18, 2012I have Windows 7 Home Premuim x64 Bit Service Pack 1. I just bought the Xbox 360 wireless controller for windows which comes with a receiver to play on the pc. When I got it I just plugged in the receiver and connected the controller it came with and it worked fine just after using for a while, did it stop connecting to the controller and after that i wouldn't connect anymore so I installed the software that it came with update the driver but still it won't connect then I unistalled the driver and software restarted the computer installed everything again and still I can't get the controller to sync with the receiver. Even tried This but I cant install the different driver because it says driver has already been installed and is up to date:
Right click on Computer
Go to Properties
Click on Device Manager
Right click on the Unidentified Device
Go to Properties
Go to the Drive tab
Click on Update Driver
Browse my computer for driver software
Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
