Soundmax Integrated Digital Audio For Windows 7 32-bit?
Feb 25, 2011
I play music and use mic in chat room. But when I upgraded from XP to WIN7 I lost that capability-People can only hear my voice not my music( audio). My computer is a DELL SOLO-soundcard is SOUNDMAX INTERGRATED DIGITAL AUDIO. But everywhere I have looked says its not compatitable .. I also can only find information for 64 bit and my PC is 32 bit. So I was told to purchase SB X-fi. ( which I have done) but it does not have a WAV OUT or STEREO MIXER only the SOUNDMAX does. But The Soundmax is pre-installed already on my mother board. I just either need a STEREO MIXER / WAV OUT for the New SOUNDCARD or Someway to get the Soundmax to work for WIN 7.Im not COMPUTER SAVEY. But I just need a site to Download or information to tell me which sound card to use. If I need to use SB then how do i remove the SOUNDMAX off my mother board, I cant seem to remove it.
On Windows 7 (and XP) when the soundmax driver is loaded it sends the audio to the USB, which works and sound great BUT I also want the audio to be sent to the miniature stereo (3.5mm) output at the same time. The driver stop the miniature stereo output. How can I have the soundmax driver loaded AND get audio sent to the miniture stereo (3.5mm) output?
Today i installed Windows 7 Ultimate and all worked good with drivers exept sound, have old drivers on CD but this OS doesnt support that old drivers...checked this thread (have same problem) soundmax integrated driver and tryed to install that and same still problem
Motherboard is : Asus P4P800S-X series, drivers should be from soundmax
I am running Windows 7 on my old laptop (HP DV 4305US, Intel Celeron with 1.25 GB RAM). Everything is great besides the sound. The integrated sound card has installed, updated automatically, everything looks normal but the computer refuses to give a sound.
I like Windows 7. It is fast even with older machines.
Hope someone can fix the soundMAX issue. Unfortunately, HP does not have a vista driver or so because the DV 4305US was designed for XP.
This appears to be working but there is no sound. I get the message "failed to play test tone" when I click test in playback devices. Windows update automatically downloads updates for this and then tells me that it is working when it isn't. I have even tried to use generic drivers (like realteks) to see if that would work. I've tried compatibility mode with no luck as well.
Current Broken/non-funtioning Driveri : Soundmax Integrated Driver Version 5.12.1.5290 System : HP Pavillion dv4015cl OS : Windows 7 Build 7022.winmain.090115-1850
I recently upgraded a MICRO-STAR INT'L CO.,LTD. MS-1034 0341 from XP/SP3, to Windows 7 Ultimate SP1. The laptop has a Digital Camera integrated into it. While the system was XP, the webcam worked. I could open My Computer, and if the camera was turned on, it showed in the inventory of devices. Now, with the new and better Windows 7 ULTIMATE, , as the camera says it is connected, but it isn't in the "Computer" inventory, and that is where you really turn the thing on. I have downloaded drivers out the ying-yang and get the same result each time.
I've recently switched to Digital Audio (S/PDIF) (High Definition Audio Device) using one Toslink cable instead of all the analog wires going from my PC to my receiver. The digital sound is amazing, CD quality from my PC is great. However, I now also receive the digitized sound of pages being loaded as I surf the web. All sound comes out digitized when loading a new page.Is there a way to stop this from happening while listening to music or course material without gong back to analog? Can I have my digital CD quality and enjoy it too!
I have PC Lenovo ThinkCentre A52 - 8326 using windows XP, And now I have just installed Windows 7 - 32bit for this PC but I have problem, that is Sound is not install althought I've searched on internet,
My Windows XP installation has a Soundmax audio driver. Having now the ability to dual boot my computer to Windows 7 I have since learned that there is little likelihood of Soundmax producing a driver compatible with Windows 7. Windows 7 Device Manager indicates under Sound Controller. what it refers to as a High Definition Audio Device and that the drivers installed are working properly but still no sound. Attempts to update these drivers report that the drivers in question are up to date. There is no indication by yellow exclamation marks that anything isn't as it should be in Device Manager.
Any suggestions for restoring sound would be appreciated
I got the beta awhile ago, build 7000 and once i got it, my sound wasn't working? I looked all over google and tried everything but nothing works. If anybody knows how to fix this tell me. My driver is a SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio v5.12.1.7010.
