Samsung SyncMaster 932MW
Here's my problem: when I turn my pc to sleep mode, everything is fine, but when I turn it back on it doesn't recognize my monitor anymore and the resolution is much to low. I've tried to put it back in control panel, but the right resolution isn't in there. But, I've discovered that if you put it into sleep mode again and wake it up, it works perfectly again. Anyone who can help me solve this problem? It's very annoying. P.S.: Excuse my English because I'm Dutch. *edit* Might be usefull you know my configuration: Celeron D 366 2.8 Ghz MSI 945GZM6-F 2 gig's of 533 Mhz RAM 80 gig HDD DVD-RAM burner on-board video and sound

Samsung Syncmaster 2243bwx Issue
Appears to be a driver issue with my Lenovo X61 laptop when using the Samsung Syncmaster 2243bwx as an additional display. Anybody else running into this issue? The native resolution is too large and is mishandled and the resolution 1440 x 900 which fits correctly produces the familiar nonnative screen res look. So the real issue is that the native resolution is mishandled . Anybody seen something similar and have a fix?

Cannot Set Resolution On Samsung SyncMaster
Win7 recognized the first Samsung SyncMaster on this machine (204BW) and set it properly to 1680 x 1050. But the second SyncMaster (206BW) was showing up as a Generic display. Even after downloading the drivers for teh 206BW and setting them to be used for the second display, I still cannot get Win7 to allow me to set it to 1680 x 1050 so that I can duplicate the displays (one's inside a sound booth, one's outside, so they need to be duplicated, not extended). Anybody run into a similar problem and know how to fix it? The displays are running off of a Radeon X1600 series video card.

Samsung SyncMaster 943NWX Monitor Problems
I have an old HP Pavilion t730m desktop pc. It has an onboard Intel 82865 G Graphics Controller, with a 19" Samsung SyncMaster 943NW lcd monitor and 2.0 GB Ram and Pentium 4. Currently it is running on Windows Vista Ultimate without Aero Effects, but everything else is working perfectly. I would like to upgrade to Windows 7, as a matter of fact I've done it twice now, but whenever I do it I have monitor resolution problems, either I'm stuck with an 800X600 resolution or other options but not the current resolution of 1440x900 that looks great. So I have restored my backup of the Vista installation. Sometimes when I change the monitor resolution, I get an incomplete screen display and a black bar on the right end of the monitor. I would really like to upgrade to Windows 7 since my computer seems to run better than with Vista, but the screen resolution is very annoying.

Samsung Syncmaster 933SN And Native Resolution
My monitor: Samsung Syncmaster 933SN won't display at it's native resolution which is 1360 x 768. It will only display at 1024 x 768 which only takes up 2/3rd's of the screen real estate! I have the most updated driver for the monitor, 3.0.0.0 from Samsung, which says it works on XP, and VISTA 32/64, but for some reason Windows 7 isn't recognizing the native resolution. It was recognized easily on Windows Xp when I bought it a few months ago, so what can I do?

Support For A Samsung, Eternity SGH-a867
I was using Samsung's PC Studio to sync my Eternity cell phone with Outlook but they are not going to support Windows 7 with a USB driver. I have set up my computer to run in XP mode but still cannot connect my phone. I guess if I can't get this to work I will have to buy a new phone running Windows Mobile. How do I get my computer to recognize my cell phone's USB port in XP Mode?Â

Thai Language Support In XP Mode
The XP mode asked for the XP service pack 3 disk. So I did. It installed it, but then I don't see the Thai language as installed. So I'm wondering if there's like a download I can do instead? In my XP sp3 computer I know it has thai in there but for the XP mode virtualization it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas what I did wrong?Or is it just not supported in the XP mode?

Does Win 7 XP Mode Support ExpressCard Slot ?
I have downloaded and installed Windows 7 Virtual Machine and XP Mode. Everything went smoothly. The software I wish to install in XP mode uses a PCMCIA card (with dongle) to communicate with various machine controls for troubleshooting. My HP Pavilion laptop has an ExpressCard slot for which I can buy an ExpressCard to PCMCIA adaptor. My questions is: Will the XP Mode software running on the Win 7 machine support and utilize the ExpressCard slot?

Syncmaster Driver Issue
I have a problem with the monitor driver, i have a samsung syncmaster 940bw i cannot get the driver to be recognized so i can get the native resolution, for you that dont know this monitor, on any other resolution other than the native the screen shows ALOT of blur what makes viewing of whatever impossible, i have tried using the driver that is for all windows but windows7 (x64) discards the driver and uses the pnp one, even with DriverMax the drivers wont be accepted, i'm currently using the DVI input with powerstrip (on a radeon 3870) and i got it to force the native 1440 * 900 but on games the resolution wont be forced, because windows wont let the drivers do their thing i guess, i have tried using the vga but the screen gets corrupted, i have the beta Windows 7 ati drivers also, i'm very frustrated by this.

Prevent Standby Mode When Running XP Mode Programs
Normally my PC enters standby mode after some period of doing nothing. That's good.I also use the XP-Mode functionality for perfoming some tasks without polluting my Windows 7 installation. For example downloading files from newsservers.I am searching for a way to automatically prevent my computer entering the standby mode when I am running a program on a Virtual Machine using the integration mode. In short: when I am running a Virtual Machine I do not want my PC to enter the standby mode. If I am not running any Virtual Machine it is ok to enter the standby mode after some period of inactivity.Of course I do not want to turn standby mode on or off manually everytime I start or stop a Virtual Machine. I want this being done automatically. I know I could also run a program as Insomnia which is a really simple program that blocks the standby mode as long as it is running. But I don't want to use such program too. Is there any way to setup the standby mode in such way that it detects a running Virtual Machine and block the standby mode as long as it is running?Does somebody know a tip or trick to make this work?

Compatibility Mode And Windows XP Mode
Is "Run this program in compatibility mode for: [Windows XP (SErvice Pack 3]" option (Ultimate RC 64-bit beta) in the properties box for an exe file the same thing as "Windows XP Mode" described in the Windows 7 features web page? If you don't pre-order Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate, you don't get this compatibility mode option to install software? Microsoft describes Windows XP Mode as a business software feature, but does not mention games or the difference between these two features if they are not the same feature. UPDATE: It appears to be something totally different. See this page: http://community.winsupersite.com/blogs/paul/archive/2009/04/24/secret-no-more-revealing-virtual-windows-xp-for-windows-7.aspx
