Printer Samsung ML2251N Connection Problem
Printer Samsung ML2251N connected to a router D-link DIR-655 (ethernet) does not work. Windows 7 x64. Vista from the same PC works with it.
Symptoms:
- Does not print when setting a local ip address
- Cannot connect via http://192.168.0.199 address (works under Vista)
Error:
The server at 192.168.0.199 is taking too long to respond
- Strange ping message:
Pinging 192.168.0.199 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.0.198: Destination host unreachable.
Reply from 192.168.0.198: Destination host unreachable.
Reply from 192.168.0.198: Destination host unreachable.
Reply from 192.168.0.198: Destination host unreachable.
Ping statistics for 192.168.0.199:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Microsoft suggests, though for Windows XP:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/314067
This error message means that no local or remote route exists for a destination host at the sending host or at a router. Troubleshoot the local host or the router's routing table.
Tried:
Change router settings (dynamic/static ip of the printer)
Turn firewall off (public and private networks, Windows 7)

Samsung Ml-2510 Printer Driver
I have a Samsung ML-2510 that I recently purchased and I can not get it to work with Windows 7. I have tried the xp driver and the Vista driver running in vista compatibility mode as an administrator and have had no success. The reason I bought this printer was because my older hp deskjet 3745 would not work with Windows 7 and it had no vista driver so I ran it in compatibility mode and it also did not work. Both these printers work fine in xp mode. I would like help with the samsung primarily but also with the hp.

Samsung Laser Printer - ML-1740
I really like Windows 7 so far. MUCH more stable than Vista on my HP Laptop. Everything has worked thus far with the exception of my Samsung Laser Printer installation. Upon running the setup, I get an error stating that this version of Windows is not supported. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Samsung ML-2510 Printer Problem
I tried searching this before couldn't find a thread with the issue I have... 1) Windows 7 64bit has a Samsung ML-2510 USB printer installed 2) I shared the printer in Windows 7 3) x64 drivers are installed but could not installed x86 drivers. It keeps saying the driver is not for the processor architecture (using the driver I used for WinXp) 4) In Advanced Sharing Options, I enabled Sharing and disabled password. I only have one account with no password, on Win 7 Machine. 5) Windows Xp laptop is a work machine and part of a domain, so I can NOT change the workgroup to "Workgroup" 6) Tried installing the printer using Win7MachineSamsung command in Winxp run dialog 7) Printer windows opens up showing "Initializing" and then get 'ready' 8) NOTHING happens when I try to print a test page. Is there a way I can use the printer? I used to be able to print without any problem, when I was on XP.

Networking Printer Samsung Clx 3170
It was compatible with windows vista ultimate as a network printer but now. I lost the printer  I manually over rode the installer for the drivers and set it up to be compatible with vista, and I have nothing...still  I am running the 64 bit edition with the 64 bit edition drivers...Â

Samsung ML-1510 700 Laser Printer
Thought it might be of interest for anyone else with this 5 year old printer to know that on my system it works with XP drivers (downloaded from the Samsung site) but NOT Vista drivers. Right-click on the driver file, select Troubleshoot Compatibility, and follow the instructions.

How To Update Printer Driver ? (Samsung CLP-300)
Can someone for the life of me please explain how i go about updating the driver as the default one seems to print graphics realy badly, compared to what the printer is capable off. I have tried going to device manager, its not listed or im pretty sure its not. i have tried going to the printer propertives through the Printer and Devices window, no update driver option there?

Samsung Clp 315 Color Laser Printer Does Not Work
I just bought the printer cited above, at first i could not install the 64 driver but i went to windows update and it gave me an update (driver?) for the printer, But after a reboot i lost the driver and re-installed with success the vista 64 driver from the Samsung site, but after puting the pc to sleep when re-starting i loose the driver every time. I called Samsung but of course they won't help me with windows 7 I am thinking of bringing it back as i have 30 days and bye another brand but they are double the price of Samsung. Anybody would know of any solution please, it would be apreciated. I cannot install the diagnostic program also that comes with the printer but this is miner if i can get the driver to stay.

HP C5100 Printer Losing Connection
I have the Windows 7 RC running and an HP C5100 series all in one printer. The printer is connected directly to the network as it is used from more than one machine. You can download and install the printer drivers from HP and it correctly sets up the printer, finds it on the network and all the functions work. There are 3 users on my computer, and it only appears for one user. To get the printer to appear for the other users, you have to logon, run the install and add the device for each user. The printer then seems to work OK, and you can print, scan etc. A few days later, family members are complaining the printer has disappeared - which it has when you look. You go in and add it back again for this user via the HP installer and it works again and then a few days later, the same thing happens again. It looks like Device Stage keeps deleting the printer for some reason? Also al ready tried - adding the network printer directly in device stage - the printer is found, recognized and works, but you can't scan as the HP software doesn't recognize the device when it's added this way.

Canon IP4000 Pixma Printer Shared Connection Problem
Am using Canon iP4000 Pixma printer. It is attached to my computer. I have shared it, as lap top needs to access printer via wireless connection. I am using Netgear DG834GV Modem/router   Have set up so printer is visible to laptop, but when tries to connect message about files not present appears. Win7 x64 will not allow Canon 32 bit driver to be installed, even under compatability mode.  Installed printer driver under XP virtualisation (Win 7, Win XP). I get the message that an .inf file is neded - what to do?  When we had 2 x win xp 32 bit machines it would work fine any advice would be really welcome

Remote Desktop Connection Doesn't See Local Printer
I am running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit on both my local and remote systems. My local system uses a brother HL-5250DN printer hooked up via a network cable (otherwards, it's not directly connected). My remote computer was running Visa Ultimate and when I connected from home, it would see the Brother printer from the Windows 7 machine. Since I upgraded the remote system to Windows 7, the printer is no longer seen remotely. Any suggestions?

Nokia E66 Connection Internet Connection Problems
I am using a nokia E66 to connect to the internet at home. My pc at home is running windows 7 home premium 64 bit. I am currently using nokia pc suite 7.1.40.1. All the software installed without any problems. The problem that I am having is that after I connect to the internet, I can only roughly download / upload about 5MB of data and the connection will time out. I do not get any error messages that is did timeout. The only way I know this is that I stop seeing data being transferred in Network properties. I then open my e-mail client to see If I can connect with a POP account and then I get an error saying it could not connect to the e-mail account. I then have to disconnect and reconnect and try again. This does not seem to affect web browsing though, only when I am downloading files. Like Steam will start update and stop, windows updates will start download and stop and so on. I initially thought it was a problem with the network operator, but when I boot back in xp (my pc is set up to dual boot between xp and 7) every thing works fine. No download time outs. Is it the nokia software that is not supporting 7 100% yet or am I missing something else?

Samsung TV Not Supported
I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 in my HP Pavilion dv2415NR the screen on the laptop works fine when I tried to send the video to my Samsung 40 TV I get a message on my TV that the "mode not Supported". The Samsung work under Vista. Any suggestions of how I can get to work. I tried downloading the new driver from NVIDIA.], that did not solve the problem.

DLNA Samsung TV
I have a Samsung LN40A750 TV and apparently for the "A" versions you can no longer get the linkstick. I ordered a "B" version of the linkstick but it didn't work (it said it wouldn't but I figured I'd try it anyway). In the end I settled on purchasing a Linksys WET610N Wireless bridge. That worked as the TV has an IP address and I can use WiseLink to see the content being shared from the computers on my network. The PLAYTO feature in Windows is what really want to work with this lashup but the TV is not recognized by Windows 7 as a device.  Any thoughts on how to get the TV to be recognized as a device while connected to the bridge? Is this something provided by the linkstick for this TV? BTW, it does identify the WET610N wireless bridge as a device in Windows. I have a Samsung Omnia 2 phone. It too is DLNA compliant and I can PLAYTO that device.

Network Printer - HP LaserJet 4100 Printer Driver Issue
I have successfully installed a HP network printer on two W7 64 bit clients that I have running in a test environment. There is one other HP network printer that is giving me problems. It is a Laserjet 4100 N model. I got the 64 bit Vista universal driver off the HP website. Add a Printer Network Printer Select HP4100 from the list of available printers. .. Looking for Driver  " No Driver Found" Browse to folder where drivers were extracted to. OK then error "Windows cannot locate a suitable driver" Any suggestions? I used the same procedure for another laserjet printer from HP. That particular driver was device specific and it worked like a charm.

Samsung Monitor Driver
I've had an ongoing problem with this for some time now. You can see here that my Device Manager tells me that I'm missing a video controller, and also in that post is my inability to watch full screen videos online. Here, I talk about the problems I've had with my display driver crashing. Now, yesterday I downloaded Photoshop, and as it opened, a window popped up saying that my "monitor Profile" is defective and needs to be calibrated (See first attachment). If I choose to Ignore Profile, I can use Photoshop as usual, but everything I export has an irremovable yellow tinge. If I choose to Use Anyway, there is no white in Photoshop's color pallet, only the same yellowish color. This got me thinking for the first time that my monitor was the cause of my problems, so I searched online for Samsung 2243swx drivers. On their webpage, they had up for download only one driver, which is for a VGA graphics card (See second attachment). I've been running a PCI graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS), and I was wondering if this could be the problem. Would you say I ought to buy a VGA graphics card?

Samsung 275t Drivers
My current monitor driver default by Windows 7 is generic pnp monitor. with this i cant get my refresh rates higher. i downloaded the samsung drivers from their site, but when running the file i get "cannot open monitor driver, please check the monitor driver or cd" ive tried runnning it in compatibility mode as well. im on x64
