Logitech Quickcam Webcam
I have a Quickcam from Logitech. There is a yellow exclamation point next to it in Device manager. Does anyone know if the Vista Quickcam driver will cure this?

OS: Windows 7 64bit Device: Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Pro Maybe you guys might have some ideas in helping me solve this issue with a driver for a Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Pro. Previously I got the webcam working by using this work around: Software Simple Blog Archive Logitech Quickcam for Notebooks Pro Webcam In Windows Vista and it worked fine no problems. That was when I had Windows 7 32bit installed. Now that I am running the 64bit version things are proving a little tricky. I tried the same technique as I previously did for the 32bit but no luck. Additionally I tried some of the methods listed in the other QuickCam Pro for Notebooks 9000 thread but no luck with that either. Of course the webcams are different, I was just hoping that the same principle might apply..

Logitech Quickcam Software Issue
The vid is kind of long and pointless, he calls Logitech at 3m and proves that Logitech Quickcam driver is not supported on Windows 7, which explains why his Explorer shell was "trashed." I was quite surprised at how much the tech rep knew about Windows 7 though. Didn't think they would be trained or informed of that kind of info for a tech rep, maybe someone to deal with other OEMs or vendors.

Logitech Quickcam Chat Problem
i have the logitec qickcam chat and now that i have windows sevn i cant install it it says compatibility issues i know once its installed you can go to properties and have it imulate and open as if in vista or xp but i cant get it to install ..

Logitech QuickCam Express Problem
I can't get my Logitech QuickCam Express to run on Windows 7. It should be just a plug and play cam, but I've also tried installing the latest Vista drivers (x64 and x86) just to try them. But both times I received the "Not compatible with this operating system." errors. Has anyone figured out how to get a Logitech Camera working?

Logitech QuickCam Express Not Working
I pluged in my Logitech quickcam express into my computer running the windows 7 beta 64bit. When it said loading device drivers and installing them, it didn't work! So I manually installed the Logitech software from there website, and that didnt work! Any help getting my web cam to work would be great, I always use it!

Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 Freezes Up
I want to start by saying that I love Windows 7. The only driver issue I have is with this Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 which I just purchased. I am on a 32-bit system and based on some of the things I've heard on here, they have had no trouble. Here are the issues that I've been having. 1) I try to install the Quickcam software and it does so successfully (also in compatibility mode), but once I try to use the software, it freezes up. 2) The camera always works but because I cannot use the software, I have not been able to record a video. I bought the camera so I could use Google Talk with my family and that's all I really care about. 3) The microphone does not work at all. Tested it in Sound Recorder. Where I am now: I got Windows 7 to install the drivers but not to install the software. So in Device Manager it shows that everything is working properly. The main thing I want to work is the microphone so I have functionality with Google Talk.

Logitech Quickcam X64 (11.90) Drivers Issue
I have tried to install the latest Logitech Quickcam x64 (11.90) drivers in compatibillity mode on Win7 x64 RC: Just before the the installation finishes the Windows Explorer crashes leaving me allone with the installation: Before asking a reboot the installation tests the camera and it works. After a reboot explorer still crashes forcing me to do a system restore: I wonder about this explorer crash behaviour: In Vista there where many explorer crashes where the explorer shell just quits and starts a new clean instance of itself. That is a little bit different in the Win7 RC: If the explorer crashes it will also crash after a reboot. Does this mean that we have to throw away our "Designed for WIndows Vista" hardware peripherals (Scanners, Webcams, TV-Card) and purchase new "Designed for Windows7" models?

Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX Not Recognized
I have a strange problem. When I installed Windows7 Béta 64bit, my Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX was recognized, but performed very badly while using Skype. It resulted over and over again in a hanging connection after some 15 seconds, while there seemed to be no problem with the webcam in the device manager. It was impossible to make a normal video conversation! Because of that, I hoped that the Windows7 RC 64bit would solve that problem, so I switched over to Windows7 RC 64bit (note: a clean install, I never upgrade an OS). From that moment on, my webcam was not recognized at all anymore, no matter what I tried! The install of new hardware and the update did not work for me. The webcam works fine with XP Pro 32bit and Vista Ultimate 64bit. At Logitech.com I cannot find any solution, driver or installation software for Windows7. Does anyone experience the same problem, and more important: does anyone know the one and only solution?

I'm going to be buying either a Logitech Quickcam Sphere Webcam or a Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000. I'm currently running the x64 Windows 7 RTM, I'm worried that buying either webcam will result in no x64 drivers. Can anyone tell me if both or either have x64 drivers?

Win7 64bit And Logitech Quickcam Fusion Driver
I have Windows 7 64bit Ultimate RC build 7100 installed and I could never get the Logitech driver and software for their Quickcam working. I waited until they released their software for Windows 7 64bit and I tried to install that. Needless to say it bombed my system big time and I even needed to get into Safe Mode to remove their software and the driver.What I want to know is this, if I do a clean install of the retail version, will the Logitech Quickcam software driver and software work?

Logitech Webcam Fusion Fail A Logitech 64 Bit Install On A 64 Bit System
Can't install any software for the Logitech Fusion Webcam P/N 861304-0000 on my desktop Windows 7 64bit. My Sony Vaio notebook will work with the 32 bit install of 11.0 drivers All versions of 10.4, 11.0, and 11.80 which requires the software as part of the install of the driver fails. I tried using the compatibility mode as well. It's a total NO GO. Comes up with the Logitech error : "This product is not designed for your current operation system" There is no work around available. You can install the driver though. However, without the configuration software for the device, you don't have anything! Logitech has the service LvComSer that only the software install can deploy. Logitech really needs to wake up here. There webcam software for this Webcam Fusion was problematic in Vista. If you received an update from Logitech and didn't have the service LvComSer stopped, then your Vista registry would be forever foobar. You'd have to revert to a prior Vista restore point, then disable all services in Vista to even get the bleeping thing installed.

Drivers For Logitech Webcam Zoom
I have a Logitech Webcam Zoom (the white and blue model). It is USB connected. Windows 7 only detects it as unknown USB device. I found some discussion on the internet for a workaround..... - install an old driver/softwer - then install a new driver/software With that, I now have the webcam detect/showup correctly on Device Manager. The webcam seems to be functioning ok with the Logitech Quick Capture software. But I couldn't get it to work with LiveMessenger. Any idea?

Logitech Webcam Communicate STX
any idea how I can get my webcam to work in Windows 7 RC 7100 64 bits the only way I got the drivers to install was to execute them in vista SP3 mode and I get a message like : these drivers are not made for this windows and then I click continue anyway, everything looks like it's working but once it's installed it asks me to plug-in the webcam and then Windows 7 looks for the drivers on windows update and once this is done I can't see the webcam on my computer, huh?

Issue With SideBar And Logitech Webcam
I'm used with the sidebar gadgets but since I installed my Logitech 9000 Pro webcam (and its drivers component), I ran into an error message ("gadget crash and we look to find why") and the sidebar has disapeared. After several reboots, nothing came back. When I right click on the background (desktop) then on "Gadgets", the mouse cursor goes blue (working) and then goes back to normal with nothing more. I noticed in the tasks that no "sidebar.exe" is running and when I try to launch sidebar, the LVPrcSrv.exe launches and stops (it is the Logitech Webcam stuff). Any solution?

Logitech Communicate STX Webcam And Live Messenger Issue
I can't seem to get my Logitech Communicate STX webcam to work with Windows Live Messenger on Windows 7 RC. It works fine on Vista, and worked on Windows 7 Beta. I downloaded the driver/software from Logitech for the camera, and the camera software appear to run fine. I also have downloaded the current version of Windows Live Messenger.
