In the last phase of the installation the computer behaves as if it was in loop. For such an inference I waited for some hours the end of the procedure and nothing happened every time in that I tried the installation.

I tried for several times the installation of Windows 7 RC in my PC Desktop Pavilion b2030br. However, in all of them the computer joined during the last phase of the procedure. Could anybody tell me what to do to heal that problem? I should increase that already tried to do a lot of things, in the different situations, such as: to turn off printer, scanner, joystick, sound boxes, etc.

Install On An HP Pavilion Dv5t
I just installed Windows 7 Beta on my HP Pavilion dv5t and notice that my quick launch buttons don't work at all. The mute button does work, but does not turn orange when muted (like it did in Vista). I can only tell that it is muted because of the mute symbol that appears in the systray. The volume and WiFi buttons work correctly in Windows 7. I have tried installing some of the HP drivers, but no help. Anyone have any ideas?

Alright I'll make this clear I've got -no- clue what I am doing here I've downloaded the windows 7 RC and tried the auto installation kit, and it seems like nothing is working here. Can I have a guide or walk though seeing as nothing wants to help me out or make this easy. I do have a product key so once I have it installed, all that good stuff.

Install On Hp Pavilion Dv 1136
if i install windows 7 on hp pavilion dv 1136, will it work? Answer:- It's a beta, so theres no guarantee that it will or wont work. I havent yet checked the specs of that hp machine so currently i cant even make a guess. To re-install XP SP3 you will have to format and re-install from your installation or recovery disks. However, if your looking at installing windows 7 make sure you have backups of all your files. just in case you have to do a full format at some point. Ive just had a quick search to try and find specs of this, and there are a few variations on the model, the graphics appears to be either a Geforce 9200m or intel 852/855 chipset. If its a model with The intel chipset/graphics then it wont give brilliant graphics performance due to no WDDM driver, and i honestly don't know how well the 9200m will perform, as i haven't seen any reports on that chipset(that i remember reading). heres the link to the individual models that are available, http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Lookup?h_lang=en&h_cc=us&cc=us&h_page=hpcom&lang=en&h_client=S-A-R163-1&h_query=dv+1136&submit.x=0&submit.y=0 if you compare those numbers to what you have, then you will be able to find out precisely which hardware you have, then you can try searching here to see whether it will be generally compatible or not. Again as i said originally, with it being a BETA, there are no guarantees that Windows 7 will work with specific hardware, thats why it has been made available to increase the numbers of pc's that it can be tested on.

Install On HP Pavilion TX1420US
I installed Windows 7 completely on my HP Pavilion TX1420US, and it was successful. However, when I tried installing the drivers, there is one unknown device, and when I tried to automatically search and install drivers, Win 7 cannot find it. Is there a way I can know what that device is so that I can install the driver? Tried calling HP but I was told they can't help and call MS. I did and they told me that Support for Win 7 RC1 is not yet provided.

Install Win7 On HP Pavilion S7713W
Ok here is my problem. I have a HP S7713W and I current;y run XP Pro. I bought the Upgrade disk for Windows 7 Pro. The install runs perfectly until I reach the point where I should enter product key info. The screen goes black. No cursor, nothing. I restart, see the windows logo, and again blank screen. I went back to XP and updated the BIOS. No luck. It will not start in safe mode, I get the message that windows needs to finish installing first. The system runs Nvidia which is directly on the motherboard, not a seperate graphic card so the monitor plugs directly into the motherboard.

Install On HP Desktop 720c/722c
I am thinking of getting Windows 7 & want to know if my legacy printer, HP Desktop 722c (in 720/722 series), will work. I ran the Windows 7 upgrade advisor report & it did not have any compatibility information about this printer. On the HP website I found a chart that said there would be a driver available from Windows Update for the 720c. Can I assume that this would also work for my 722c?

RC1 - First Boot After Install, Blank Desktop
I've been trying to get W7RC1 installed as a dual-boot onto my 64 bit 2.4ghz Quad Core 8 GB machine but with little luck thus far. I am also running a nVIDIA 260 GTX graphics card. I am installing onto a RAID drive and I have tried both installing and not installing the RAID controller driver during installation. If I boot into safe mode, the UI that handles the post-installation GUI loads up but I get forcibly rebooted as "completing installation is not supported in safe mode" So it seems like the issue is related to *something* stopping the post-installation environment to load, more than likely a driver issue. However, due to the sheer lack of other people with this issue, I'm a little confuzzled.

HP Pavilion A810n Drivers
I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate onto my HP Pavilion a810n, but cannot get the XP drivers to work with it. I really only need the network driver to work so I can access the internet. I have tried extracting the drivers to a folder and tried to add it using the "device manager" manually but that does not seem to work. It would also be great to get the motherboard audio/video drivers to work. Not that important since I have an external sound card and an ATI All in wonder Video Card.

HP PAVILION Built-in Webcam
Who knows how many people complained for following issue BUILT-IN WEBCAM WON'T WORK UNDER WINDOWS 7RC! All right, I have the same problem, but I just could't find similar thread on any forum. So, I installed win7 RC over win 7 beta (clean install not an update). Everything went smoothly, drivers all found and instaled, device manager showing no yellow exclamation triangles. Every bit of hardware is in place, everything works perfectly according to system diagnostic. BUT, webcam shows no picture. Driver is properly installed and has no collisions with other system resources. Interesting thing was, that camera was working excellent under win 7 beta. I don't know what has changed in win 7RC, but camera just won't start. If anyone has any solution or similar issue, please don't hesitate to post a reply. Oh yeah, my configuration: HP PAVILION dv 6670el Entertainment PC intel core2duo 2.0 GHz 2GB RAM 160GB HDD NVIDIA 8400gs video card HP built-in webcam (at least that's what system information says) 1.3Mpix

Win7 On HP Pavilion Dv9500t
It seems that HP, in their dubious wisdom, has decided not to provide driver support for the entire dv9xxx series of portables. The PC seems extremely capable so I'd like to keep it and upgrade to Windows 7. Has anyone got this combination working? If so, can you provide a source for the drivers?

HP Pavilion Dv5-1004nr
All but 1 drivers were installed for the HP Pavilion dv5-1004nr. The only driver that was missing was the ENE CIR infra-red received. Since it is a Microsoft e-home InfraRed received I think that the driver should be included by default. However, I managed to make it work by installing the Vista driver available.
