How To Reset Windows 7 PC In 32bit
Sep 8, 2012
I was running flexi-sign 8.1 on my windows 7 pc. Somehow one of my employees messed up the system and now I can't open it anymore. I think the problem is because the software only runs on 32 bit and my system is 64 bit. I know there is a work around, I just don't know what it is.

I had to reset my computer to factory settings a while back. I've done nothing to it except download advanced system optimizer and windows antivirus. This was a miracle alone due to the fact that my Computer locks up for extensive periods of time and will barely ever finish a task; such as transferring a picture to USB drive, scan, or any click command. It has never done this before the reset.

when I booted up my computer, it said 'Please wait.. Configuring your desktop'.And when it loaded up, everything on the computer was reset. Fortunately, after looking everywhere, I found everything (My documents, pictures, music, videos, etc). But if I go to the start menu, and click on a program, instead of opening it, it starts installing it. On the pics, as you can see, there were some programs on the desktop. But when I clicked on it, it started installing it. Also, as you can see, the Documents, Pictures, Music folder has been reset.

So it seems like windows 7 corrupted the password I set for the admin account because it did not work. Probably because I set the password then set it up to do automatic login using the 'control userpasswords2' command. So now i am using a vista password cracker but it can't seem to find the registry? It states it is in winnt/system32/config but when i type that in, it does not find it. is the registrysam file in a different location? If so can someone please list it here?

I recently plugged in a friends iphone (bob) and accidentally pressed import files rather than explore. In the autorun menu. Now when I plug my iPhone in, Windows is saying that Bob's iPhone is plugged in, instead of mine.Which is rather weird. Any ideas how to fix/reset to default? My phone is named correctly in iTunes and that recognizes it correctly.

We just build a new system to play around with the Intel Rapid Matrix RAID
Asus P8P67 MB + 8GB RAM+ I5 2500K + 2xWD BLUE HD SATA 6 IN SATA 0 and SATA 1 ( SETUP AS RAID Mirror)We install the Window Ultimate 64 Bit in the RAID Drive .... No problem after all the drive install We also allocate 50GB for doing a image backup (Drive F) We restart the system and goto BIOS to set the HD from RAID to AHCI ( This is the situation happen when the BIOS reset)
Supprise me the system can boot form the Drive ...... (In Device Manager .... I see two WD 1TB HD instead of one 1TB RAID Drive) But when I use Disk Manager it takes really long time to run... I can't wait for that long and shut down) On My computer I only see one HD with 4 Partitation ...
I restart the system and Goto the BIOS to reset back to RAID...and it give error..
I but the W7 Ultimate Boot disk to repair but no success.. Try to load the Backup Image .... cannot find it...
From the old time .... if the BIOS reset it will set to IDE Mode ... Then I am'not able to login to window it will come up blue screen and I just reset to RAID it will fine.... But nowadays... the New MB set Default AS AHCI...then I encounter this issue.... Lucky ... we just testing the new system now..
If I have a cooperate customer want to setup a RAID drive and suddenly Power Cut Down.... BIOS reset..

I am running Windows 7 x 32b
Recently, and all of a sudden, ALL of the folders on our system , regardless of whether system or data, have been set to read only.I have data only on drive d: and on an external NAS SL3620-2S-LB2 network drive. This data, both personal and work accumulated over many years, amounts to 25,168 folders totalling some 498Gb. I came across the seriousness of the problem when starting to re-order the data. I found that I was unable to delete any folders, with or without data.
I can create a folder, I can add data, but I can't delete. Its there forever.I have tried all the usual things, plus many that have been mentioned in various forums. I have tried the command prompt method on a single test folder without success.I do not fancy going through that for each individual folder - I doubt I'll live that long.I have also tried 'Unlocker' and 'LockHunter', without any programs running, and they find no locks on data folders.I can understand Sytem Folders and files being protected, it makes perfect sense, but ALL FOLDERS?What is the point? How can anybody administer their data with blanket security like this, if that is the Microsift excuse?

I recently installed COD 2 on my new computer, running windows 7 premium 64 bit. It worked fine. When I exited I had problems launching my google chrome and explorer 7 browser. They stayed small or shot off screen during launch. I don't know how to reverse what I did to get the game to work so I ended up having to reinstall windows 7 which was a mistake since it wiped out my files and I know there is a better way.

I just bought the new components for my PC. They are;
- Asrock H61M-VS mainboard
- Intel i5 2500 CPU
- 2x4GB Transcend 1333
- WD Blue 750 GB HDD
- WD Green 1TB HDD
- Thermaltake TR2 RX 450W PSU
- Palit GT440 1GB
- LG IPS235V monitor
So, this is how it went.
1) I carefully installed all the components, made sure everything is in order, cables, fans, slots...connected the graphics card to monitor via DVI. Turned on the PC just to see if it all works - no signal. Bad start. Plugged out the DVI cable, took the D-Sub cable from the graphics card to monitor. Turned the PC on again - no signal. Then I've plugged the onboard D-Sub to my monitor and - finally some pictures. BIOS (UEFI) utility showed up, I checked the temperatures, saw everything was in order.
2) Then I've set the disk modes to AHCI, corrected the boot order (HDD #1 first, USB DVD second, HDD #2 off), plugged in the USB DVD drive, put the Windows 7 Ultimate disk, and started the installation procedure. Opted for the x64 version, made a 50GB partition just for the Windows, chose all the settings, typed the computer name and adjusted the date & time...then the installation showed "Preparing Your Desktop"...so I kept watching the nice blue background and waited...after 15 seconds, it flashed the desktop with all the icons and then - automatically showed "Logging Off" and "Shutting Down". After few seconds, the PC kept showing POST screen for a second, then nothing...and it looped. It went into some weird restart loop.
3) I repeated the process again, making sure I didn't make any mistakes. Installation got thru, "Preparing Your Desktop"....10 seconds after the glimpse of Windows desktop and the sudden "Logging Off" and "Shutting Down" screens. And the reboot loop again.
Tried to shut off the PC and turn it back on - it just kept rebooting around the POST screen.
4) Unplugged the second memory module and disconnected the backup HDD, leaving the PC with just one 4fGB module and one HDD. Tried the installation again. Same results.
5) Took the old XP SP2 disk, changed the disk modes to IDE, installed the XP SP2. Everything seemed to work normal.
6) Put the graphics card CD and tried to install the drivers, because I didnt want to work with the integrated graphics. NVidia installer alerted me that "there is no such hardware in your configuration". Checked the HW Monitor program, it displayed CPU, HDD and Mobo temps, but not the GPU temps. Checked the Device Manager under Display Adapter - only Intel graphics shown.
7) Took out the graphics card from the PC and tried to install Windows 7 again. Installation went thru and then the regular Preparing Your Desktop / Logging Off / POST screen reset loop.

I have a reset disk. I have Windows 7 Home Premium. I lost my administrator password, only one administrator account. I cannot find any button anywhere on the Welcome screen that I can click to 'reset password'. I cannot do it from the (limited) other user on the computer. I downloaded an Appliction called resetwindowspassword-set from 'download.cnet.com' and I cannot open the download because I do not have the administrator password.

I have quite a few input languages enabled on Windows 7 Ultimate and I want to navigate between them using keyboard shortcuts like I used to do on Windows XP. I know how to assign the shortcuts but the trouble is that all of the shortcuts keep getting reset every time I shut down the PC and after I log on again none of them work... I can of course go to Control Panel and assign the shortcuts again but it's a bit irritating when you have to do it for 8 languages every day.Oddly enough, the shortcuts for two of eight languages that I have are automatically restored when I go to this dialog box where shortcuts may be assigned — without me making any changes other than just clicking OK. So these two don't seem to be completely lost, it just seems that Windows 'forgets' about them until I open the dialog box with the shortcut assignments.
