HP Pavilion A810n Drivers
I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate onto my HP Pavilion a810n, but cannot get the XP drivers to work with it. I really only need the network driver to work so I can access the internet. I have tried extracting the drivers to a folder and tried to add it using the "device manager" manually but that does not seem to work. It would also be great to get the motherboard audio/video drivers to work. Not that important since I have an external sound card and an ATI All in wonder Video Card.

Realtek AC'97 Audio For VIA (R) Audio Controller Drivers Issue
I just installed Windows 7 and it seems awesome! The biggest problem so far is with audio drivers. I have MSI KT6V LSR motherboard (using VIA KT600 north bridge and VIA VT8237 South Bridge). I got the sound to work by installing drivers, but after I reboot the computer, sound didn't work anymore. The volume icon in notification area shows a red cross, and when I click it, Windows starts a windows "Detecting problems". After that, it says that reinstalling the driver might help.

Via HD Audio Deck Incompatible Audio Driver
I am having trouble with my audio drivers (Via HD Audio Deck), I have tried installing them with compatability mode: Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) The driver installs but most of the features don't work and exits the program. I am currently using Asus p5kpl-cm mainboard (socket 775), and running 2 operating systems: Windows Vista 32-bit & recently installed Windows 7 RC 64-bit The exact same audio drivers work for vista 32-bit.

Switching From HDMI Audio Output Back To Built Audio Output
Win7 RC (64 bit version) Recently I had to plug in just a monitor and speakers to my system (and unplug the HDMI TV input). Per the control panel, it correctly states that there is no HDMI device and standard line out is the active device. (Little bar graph goes up and down as audio supposedly is being outputed). (If I boot XP the audio works just fine.) My question is can anyone provide a pointer to where to look to see where the audio stream is going (I think it is still heading towards the HDMI port). Hardware - I7, MSI X58 MB, ATI 4350 graphics card, NO audio card (just built audio).

USB Audio
I have a JVC RX D205 home theater receiver pluged into my PC 32 bit Windows XP via USB. The receiver is about 2 years old. How would this work if I bought and installed Windows 7 64 bit? I must add that I want to continue using the USB for it.

Computer To TV Audio
I want to connect my Windows 7 desktop with my TV. The audio out ports on my computer are a mini plug (green) and what appears to be a single RCA type plug (labeled "digital audio out"(orange.)) The audio in port on the TV is what appears to be a single RCA type plug (green.) What cable solution do I employ? I'm under the impression that a stereo mini plug is an analog solution, but I'll be surprised to even find one that ends in a lone green RCA type plug.

VIA Audio, 1 Port
It's been a while since I've gotten my sound "working," but my current problem is that only one of my audio jacks work, one on the back. I know it's not the hardware because it used to work on vista. It hasn't been that much of a pain because i didn't have to change often between audio output devices, so i just dealt with it- getting back behind the computer and switching out cords. Now i'm doing it a little more frequently, so I can still just deal with it, but if anyone here does know something that may help, it would be very nice of you to let me know.

No Audio Via HDMI To TV
I installed Windows 7 yesterday and at first I had no audio to my TV via the HDMI cable. I adjusted the settings via the sound icon on the taskbar, playback tab, changing whether the speakers or the Digital Output Device (HDMI), Sigmatel High Definition Audio Codec was the default. Eventually I got it to work. Today, however it has stopped working again and no matter what changes I make, nothing works. When I right click on the playback device Digital Output Device (HDMI) and choose TEST, I get the message: Failed to play test tone. All sound comes through the laptop speakers. I went to device manager and checked the driver for the codec and it was up to date. When I was using Vista, to get the audio all I had to do was plug in the HDMI cable and the sound automatically went through the TV. Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this?

Sigmatel Audio Drivers
After a clean install of Windows 7 from Vista 64 bit , all went perfect except for the audio drivers. After a few weeks Windows 7 was saying that the sigmatel audio driver installed was not working. Sigmatel is now actaully IDT. Any of the so called updated drives from sigmatel or IDT will not install. So just delete any installed audio drives in Device manager and let windows install the drives upon rebooting, they work perfectly and they are the most recent drivers i could find anywhere for the High Definition codec.

No Audio Support? Firewire?
I like the snippet tool, about time, wish there was a key shortcut, similar to OS X - Anyway, I see in device driver that FIREWIRE sets up fine (TEXAS INSTRUMENTS) on my INTEL motherboard, but the device, high end Mackie firewire device, does not work. Installed the MACKIE ASIO driver and nothing, not even a POP UP saying NEW DEVICE found. This is a shame if this turns out to be true as the lack of Vista driver (more than one year after Vista came out), made me go to a Mac for the past year. Was hoping the vista driver would work, especially since it's a standard ASIO audio driver for Vista.

Audio Only Works Through Headset
Since upgrading our Fujitsu Siemens Amilo PI1505 to Windows 7 in the past few days I've only been able to get sound through a headset and not through the speakers. Not particularly having a clue what to do I've tried installing the original audio drivers but can't do so as Windows tells me that more up to date drivers are already installed. Any ideas on how to resolve this problem and if indeed it is a driver issue any ideas how I can get the old driver to replace the new without Windows reinstalling the latest ones on Restart.

Realtek HD Audio Drivers
in Windows 7 Realtek HD Audio Drivers I think I have found a solution to this. I recently had problems my self. First you have to install this, from Intel: Intel® Desktop Board D910GLDW Audio: Realtek* ALCxxx Driver Second, install the latest drivers from Realtek, R2.22. I uploaded the zip file to filefront, as their ftp server is running by mouse power. Vista_R222.zip Download File I hope it will work. for you. I had a lot of trouble finding the solution. Everything has to do with Intel's high definition codec that for some reason Realtek choose not to include in their driver packages.

Gigabyte Audio Drivers
problem I'm having is that the on-board audio will not install regardless of what I do, let windows solve the issue, install the (apparently) compatible driver from the Gigabyte website via it's exe or manually from the same source. I'm a little short on time at the moment so if any more info is required (system or other) please ask but I'm at a loss as to what to do. Despite oodles of googling If I can't find a solution I will just buy a new soundcard but this is a last resort.
