HP Pavilion Zt3000 Network Controller Driver
there is no way to get into the Internet. I tried almost everything like using XP drivers and stuff, even installing in the compatibility mode. But still there is no way - not wired and not wireless.
I suppose that my computer doesn't provide any vista drivers because it's way to old.
any suggestions to solve that problem apart from just using a different machine;)

Pavilion Zt3000 Notebook Internet / Driver Problem
I'm using windows 7 beta on an old hp pavilion zt3000 notebook built for XP and W2K. Now, I can't connect to the internet according to the device manager there is a "network controller" driver missing. I already tried to use the CD I have, I downloaded stuff from the internet, I tried to install it using the compatibility mode but nothing works. I still can't connect to the internet. It only says it can't get an IP which I think is because of the missing driver. I tried using cable and Wifi but neither of them seems to work. I can't get any vista drivers for my notebook cause it's simply way to old.

Network Controller Driver Not Adapter Driver
A few days ago I did a clean install of Windows 7. Now I have a problem. The computer is a wireless 'client'. It has a Realtek RTL8168D/8111D PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20). When I bring up Device Manager and expand 'Network adapters' I see "Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller". When I expand 'Other devices' I see "! Network Controller" (Note the exclamation point.) Double click on that and I see "The driver for this device is not installed. (Code 28). When I click on Update driver I get a message Can't find a driver. I have tried many times with different source folders and files and nowhere is a driver found. I have gone to MSIs driver web page and downloaded the Realtek PCI-E Ethernet Driver for Windows 7 32/64 bit "realtek_pcielan_7_nb.zip", extracted the files and still no joy. (M/B is MSI G41M with Intel E7400) There is a wireless icon in the tray. I click 'Open network and sharing center". No matter what I choose Windows 7 ends up telling me to plug in an Ethernet cable. No, this is a client not the server. I have verified that the NIC can connect to the computer with the Ethernet cable by using the old XP hard disk. Any suggestions?

Ethernet And Network Controller Issue
I'm running Windows 7 on my laptop for some time now, and I am really satisfied with it. I have just one thing bugging me, since I can´t get it to work as it should. Windows has recognized the "Ethernet Controller" and "Network Controller" as USB devices (therefore I can "Safely remove them"). I was wondering if any of you guys is going through something like that or have any clue on solving this issue.

HP Pavilion Dv6000 Graphic Card Driver
I have installed Windows Seven on my HP Pavilion laptop. Everything works just fine, except the Aero feature. The taskbar, for example, is dull and grey, instead of being glass-like and transparent. I did a problem sweep with Windows, and it said that I had to install the graphics card driver. I cannot seem to find it, however. What am I supposed to do?

Audio Driver For HP Notebook Pavilion Dv2312us
It's not a huge problem, but just found out the WIN 7 audio driver for my HP notebook Pavilion dv2312us will not be available for another 2-3 months. Using the current driver, I get a POP sound when it goes into sleep mode or shuts down. I also don't have a mute function. I hope the POP sound is not damaging to the computer. I was on the driver page for this computer and the Win 7 audio driver is not listed. So then I went into a chat - he gave me a driver that wasn't compatible at all. Had to go back to my other generic IDT driver which causes problems above.

Driver For Ralink Wireless LAN Card On HP Pavilion M9350F
For some reason, Windows 7 does not find any adapters on my computer. I have heard that Netgear does not support Windows 7 yet, (Aren't vista drivers supposed to work on Windows 7 anyway? I have a WPN111 adapter) so I'm using a built in pci-e Ralink for my adapter that came with my comp. I downloaded the most recent driver for it off of HP's site, but when I install it on Windows 7, it comes out saying that my system does not meet the miniumum requirements.

HP Pavilion Dv9000 Laptop Driver For Base System Device
I just installed Windows 7 Beta on my HP Pavilion Dv9000 laptop and everything is working really well, but in device manager I have 2 items listed under Other Devices that say Base Sytem Device. I am assuming I need some kind of driver for them, but I am not sure how to tell what they are or what driver they will need. How do I figure this out? If I get the properties of these devices under the general tab I see Device type: Other device, Manufacturer: Unknown, and Location: PCI bus 9, device 9, function 3.

IDE Controller Driver Problems
I have a Gateway P-7811fx laptop. I did a fresh install of Windows 7 (64 bit) and now I can't seem to get my SD Card reader to work. I know that the laptop knows there's a SD card in there because when I plug it in, it pops up as "O2Micro SD Disk Device" under Disk Drives in Device Manager. But for some reason, it won't show the SD card in My Computer. The only problem I can see is that under Storage Controllers in the Device Manager, there's a yellow exclamation point next to "AILXT4UC IDE Controller" that I cannot seem to fix. All of my drivers seem to be updated and I cannot get any answers from Troubleshooting the problem. Anyone know what I'm experiencing and how to fix it?

Install SATA Controller Driver
I've just bought parts and collected a new PC system. My Motherboard is AsRock M3A785GXH/128 ASRock > Products > M3A785GXH/128M and regarding to the manufacturer it should be Windows 7 hardware ready. But I can't install Windows 7 pro 64 bit on my new system. The Windows 7 installation application can't see my harddrives and want a driver to them. I assume that should be a driver for the SATA controller on the motherboard. I've tryed to use the drivers on the motherboard cd-rom and tryed to use the drivers froms asrock homepage, but Windows 7 wont accept them. I have contacted AsRock about this issue, but I'm wating for an answer and hoped that you guys might has seen this problem before, and will answer quicker than AsRock Support I should say that I cant install Windows Vista Business 64bit without any problems at all.

Gigabyte GBB36X Controller Driver
I have a Gigabyte motherboard (GA-MA-790X-UD4P). Vista Home Premium (32 bit). I will upgrade to Windows 7 32 bit when it comes out. My problem - I ran the MS Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor and it was recommended that I upgrade the GIGABYTE GBB36X controller to make it compatible. That was my only issue. I asked Gigabyte, they said to get the updated driver from JTech. I did so, installed the recommended one, ran the Advisor again, and now it says to update the JTech GBB36X controller. I don't seem to have accomplished anything. I'm 67 yrs old, not computer smart, and that's my dilemma. Do any of you here have any thoughts? I realize that the advisor thing is beta, so maybe there will be some changes? If I do nothing more, leave well enough alone, what are the hazards? I don't use raid, don't understand it. I don't have any exotic hardware I don't think. Would my PC be in danger? This is the last OS I will ever see, can't afford to upgrade any components, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mass Storage Controller Driver Issue
I have this issue going on since i installed windows 7--32 bit on a new partition. Firstly In the 'device manager' I see 'Mass Storage Controller' which shows me a yellow sign of exclaimation & the following message pops up when 'right clicked' on 'properties' ;''The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)There is no driver selected for the device information set or element. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver'' Secondly; In the 'device manager' below the 'Mass Storage Controller' name/driver it shows a name/driver called 'Unknown Device' again with yellow sign of exclaimation as mentioned above & When 'right clicked' on its properties I get the same error message as mentioned above. Thirdly;None of the External buttons on my laptop for web cam, volume etc present are working. They only work with my vista OS but not with windows 7. Now What drivers do u recommend & Where can i find the specific drivers for windows 7 beta to function without any further driver issues or other issues as mentioned above Also When i plug in my usb external hard drive it shows me a message ''Do u want to scan the drive or continue without scanning'' & i tried both the ways/methods but still my files stored in usb e.xternal hard drive drive freeze & therefore dont respond immediately when i try to view or open them. Did reinstall, update everything but couldnt solve it.
