HP Pavilion Dv6000 Wireless Card Problem

Since installing W7, my computer hasn't identified my wireless card. In the Device Manager, it doesn't list my Broadcom Wireless LAN card. I tried installing the driver from HP's website (I'm on an HP Pavilion dv6000) but it doesn't do anything.

Thoughts?

HP Pavilion Dv6000 Graphic Card Driver
I have installed Windows Seven on my HP Pavilion laptop. Everything works just fine, except the Aero feature. The taskbar, for example, is dull and grey, instead of being glass-like and transparent. I did a problem sweep with Windows, and it said that I had to install the graphics card driver. I cannot seem to find it, however. What am I supposed to do?

Driver For Ralink Wireless LAN Card On HP Pavilion M9350F
For some reason, Windows 7 does not find any adapters on my computer. I have heard that Netgear does not support Windows 7 yet, (Aren't vista drivers supposed to work on Windows 7 anyway? I have a WPN111 adapter) so I'm using a built in pci-e Ralink for my adapter that came with my comp. I downloaded the most recent driver for it off of HP's site, but when I install it on Windows 7, it comes out saying that my system does not meet the miniumum requirements.

HP Pavilion M9500Y Card Reader Problem
Just to Start out with here are the System Specs then I will get the the question.

HP Pavilion M9500Y

AMD 9750 Quad Cor 2.4 GHZ
8 Gig DDR2 MEM
Invidia 9500S 512Meg DDR2
3 TB HD disk Space
DVD Burner
LG Blue Ray Burner
Hauppauge 1250 Hi-Def Turner
15 in 1 4 slot  card reader
HPw2408h Monitor

Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit RC1

Now to the fun part I have been using the rc1 windows since it came out and started with the Beta before that . Up to now I have had no problems with things being recognized. but the other day I rebooted the system. Much to my surprise the Card reader didn't show up when i opened the my computer Icon. When I stuck in a card figuring maybe it just didn't reqister nothing happened so I looked in the device Mgr and low and behold it shows up that with no problems.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and though they reinstalled with no problems the divice still only shows in the Device mgr and is not accessable anywhere else any thoughts would be helpful.

HP Pavilion A720n Graphics Card Problem
The computer I'm using is an HP Pavilion a720n. I've never really seen the need to upgrade, so it's using the came-with I believe 56MB Integrated Graphics Card.

The problem is that the Windows 7 Beta (public version) doesn't seem to recognize the integrated graphics card, and when I check DXDiag, instead shows me "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter", which I assume is it telling me that I have no graphics card, but a slot for one.

It was working fine with XP, though. Anybody know how to fix this?

Dv6000 Webcam Driver
I have a HP Pavilion dv6238ea and it had xp on it and the webcam driver i downloaded from hp.com worked fine. Then i formatted it and installed windows 7 in it.

Windows 7 detected the webcam and installed the driver. The webcam shows as ''HP Webcam 1000" and the manufacturer is "Micro Vision" and also the driver is provided by 'Micro Vision'. But it doesn't work. It only shows a black screen.

I downloaded the vista driver from hp.com for my laptop(HP Webcam Driver with Firmware Upgrade for Microsoft Windows Vista HP Pavilion dv6238ea Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)) but it is not able to install. It gives an error.

There is no available driver for windows 7 for this laptop (or any dv6000 series i think) on hp.com

Can anyone help in solving this?

Best Wireless Pci Card
So i've been trying to figure out why the new computer I've built is freezing up randomly during operation. So far I've: Flashed an updated bios version, Run Memtest86+, and have been systematically uninstalling hardware. I think i've found the though, and it's the Linksys Wireless-G PCI adapter (WMP54G).

Once i removed this piece of hardware, the issue vanished. I looked online for some information and i found that the Ralink chipset Linksys uses has driver issues with 64bit windows 7 at 4gb+ ram.

So, what i basically want to know is, is there a good pci wireless adapter for 64bit windows that won't suck?

And no, i can't use an Ethernet cable, I split the Internet with my neighbors (apartment) and i'm the one w/o the router.

64-Bit Not Supporting Wireless Card
Okay, so I'm using Windows 7 64-Bit. It's flawless, and a bit of a show off, seeming as it already had all of the necessary drivers for all my PC components pre-installed. :P

One issue is the network card. I had a Netgear WPN311 card before, which I couldn't find the right drivers for, so I decided to put my old Belkin F5D7000 into the PCI port.

So.. basically.. I don't have any way of getting online, because I am literally unable to find drivers that suit Windows 7 64-Bit, and at the same time work on this Belkin card.

So this is the one thing I'm confused with.. The PC seems to pick it up as a 'Multimedia' device under device manager. I am completely at a loss what to do with it, and it's becoming very frustrating. If anyone can help me out, tell me what drivers to use for this or the Netgear one if that so happens to be necessary, I would be very, very grateful.

Wireless Network Card Driver
I have a wireless internet card that i use for vista and its fine. when i run win 7 on the same computer and try to install drivers it doesn't work. i tried the disk it gave me and i tried a lot of other things that were compatible with vista. finally i got my computer to recognize i even had a card but there was a problem.

i think it said could not start the device or something i know it was code 10 though, to make the problem worse i cant get my video card driver so the card gets really hot because i cant turn up the fan.

*update*

I tried one driver that should have worked for windows, i installed it and after it told me to shutdown and put in the card. it was already in so i restated it and then the blue screen came up and it restarted, i rand the startup fixer thing and that seemed to work once but i got the blue screen again

Broadcom Wireless Card Not Detected
Since installing of W7 RC on my HP DV6115EA I have a problem with wireless card. System just dont see it at all. It was working OK on Beta version. Then when I installed RC it just didn't show up in Device Manager. There is no unrecognized devices in Device Manager at all.

I assumed it was a card failure, but then something funny happened.

I intended to install a wireless USB card, so I stick it in, realize that I have to go, and I unplugged it before windows finished looking for drivers.

But after that an available wireless connections popped out, and all of a sudden the Broadcom card was there, working fine.

Unfortunately, I had to go and I left the laptop switched on to do some investigation later on, but automatic restart ruined that plans.

Now I can't recreate it. So I know that the Broadcom is there lurking under the skin, drivers installed, ready to go - just how to get it to surface?

After installing drivers for the USB wireless it shows as Wireless Connection 2. first one I assume would be the Broadcom, but can't see it.

Any idea how to dig it out?

Atheros Wireless Card Connection
Running Toshiba laptop with dual boot Vista 32/Windows 7. Atheros AR5007EG card. When I first installed, the card connected well, no problems with Win 7 installed driver. After a few hours of use, the card stopped connecting to router. It would see that there were connections available, but when I clicked Connect, it would just say can't do that.

I went through a lot of rigamaroll installing Atheros drivers a couple of times and am now using Atheros Driver Version 7.6.0.164 (dated 28/07/2008) BUT, that didn't solve the problem. Off to the router... I had read that changing channels might solve it but when I tried to access my Linksys WRT54G through the browser (http://192.168.1.1), I got no response.

I reset the router, and just reset my security, and VOILA!, the internet connection worked.       Note that the Atheros card would connect in Vista 32 all through this time, and router continued to supply wired service without any troubles. So I am not sure what is going on since i don't know a lot about configuring routers or how they work. Maybe there is some kind of interaction between the card and router that causes the disconnect. If it happens again, I'll update this.

UPDATEToday when I turned my laptop on, it wouldn't connect to the router although it found all the connections available, so I rebooted the router (unplug for 30 seconds) and it connected just fine. weird.

So far, Windows 7 has been a great experience except for the fact that I cannot get my wireless card online. Windows Action Center did however reconize a compatibility issue and tried to download a Ralink Driver, but that has not solved any issues. It is an AirLink101 Wireless g PCI card, Model: AWLH3026T. Any help as to how i can get Windows 7 to recognize my wireless card, or as to where I can get a driver for this card would be much appreciated!

Hawking Wireless Card Problem
I am having a problem with my card. I have a Hawking wireless card (HWP54G) and Win7RC1 seems to have found my card. I confirmed it by checking it out on device manager. It shows the card in the list. But for some reason, the card cannot find my home network. Actually, it could not find any network around. I tried to search for the networks and I could not find them.

I am getting stumped and frustrated. The new windows looks good, except for the compatibility issues. Does anyone have a similar problem and how did you fix it without buying a new card?

Installing Drivers For Wireless Pci Card.
Okay so i have an older Wireless PCI Card from like 5 years ago, I didnt have an antenna for it so i didnt use it, I recently came across the antenna and put the card in my PC, The "Ethernet Controller" says it doesnt have the drivers, and windows wont find it on its own. So i have gone to the website and downloaded the driver and software, it all tells me there are several missing .dll files.

So i downloaded them virus scanned them etc. and still no progress on getting the card installed. I dont know where the CD for it is and i doubt the CD would even work for windows 7. Can anyone help me out with this prob? Its a Wireless-B PCI Adapter 2.4GHz Model No. BB720C808230
