HP LaserJet 1010 Not Recognized
My HP LaserJet 1010 (USB-printer) is not automatically recognized by Windows 7 (64-bit). I am unable to install the printer manually. I did locate a Vista 64-bit driver for this printer on the HP-website, but I don't understand how I could use the inf-file. I can't find a way to tell Win7 where to look...

HP Laserjet 1010 Printer And HP Scanjet 3400c Compatibility
I have just currently upgraded my Windows Vista Basic to Windows 7 and I'm experiencing a driver incompatibility with it. I have a HP Laserjet 1010 printer and HP Scanjet 3400c. I am having a hard time looking for drivers that would enable me to use my hardwares. My pc recognizes these two hardwares, but when installing it, it only roll's back and give a an error message. Is there any drivers or issues regarding HP Products incompatible with Windows 7? With my windows vista, i have installed it. Please, my printer and scanner still works perfectly fine but it won't work with my desktop computer.

HP LaserJet 4 Plus
I can not find a printer driver for my HP Laserjet 4 Plus inside of Windows 7. I could inside Windows Vista. I tried to find one on the net, but was unsuccessful. I know its an old printer, but shouldn't Windows 7 support it still?

HP LaserJet 4+
I am having trouble printing to my laserJet 4 +, it is networked off my 2003 server and works fine from the server and my wife's Vista laptop and on my machine before I upgraded to Windows 7. The problem is printing from Word to an envelope, it is garbled, like it is using the wrong driver. I got the latest update with the newest LJ4 Driver and it is not changed. Any ideas?

HP Laserjet Driver
I have an HP Laserjet 1020 that I can't get to work with my OS (Windows 7 Beta 32-bit). I found the driver on the HP site, but it will not function with this Beta system, and Windows will not recognize the printer as a printer; it just comes up as a device. How do I solve this problem? I already looked through the updates catalogue and found nothing that looked right.

Laserjet Driver
I have an elderly (approx 3 years old) , but perfectly functioning HP Laserjet 1000. I understand that HP have not, and will not, issue a Win 7 driver update for this machine. I do not want to have to buy a new printer, when this one works brilliantly. My question is, if I install XP on a separate partition, and reinstall the Laserjet, will it work? And are there any implications in running two different operating systems on the same computer, please?

HP LaserJet 1320
i can't get a HP LaserJet 1320 to work on Windows 7 64-bit. It is a printer connected to an XP machine on the network, when i add the printer, it says, that the driver can't be found on the network, then i can pick a driver from disk, but the 64-bit driver package, that HP offers on their page for this printer doesn't work. There's also an install.exe in the package, but it just says Installing for too long and does nothing. Have you encountered this issue?

HP Laserjet 1000
This printer is about 5 years old. It is perfect for my needs, but HP will not issue a Win 7 driver for it. I REALLY don't want to buy another . I have been given lots of advice, and tried all sorts of options. Once I did actually manage to print something. The printer is a hybrid: parallel port connector with a USB connector coming out of it. Please can someone advise me how to get this going?

HP Laserjet 5si
I have an HP Laserjet 5si that I could not install using Add Printer or Important Update. The Update would fail with an Error 80070002 and the Add Printer with an Error 0x00000002. I did get it to install using HP XP drivers from 2002. I would like to be able to install this printer using the Update method as Microsoft has issued an Important Update alert for this. By the way I have tried over 20 times and it is still in the Update list. I have numerous other printers that are working ( all USB ) the 5si is parallel port and I use it because it has a 100 envelope feeder.

HP Laserjet 4L Update
Every time I run Win Update, it always finds the very same update again. The driver for my HP LaserJet 4L. Doesn't matter if I totally uninstall the Printer, and then run Win Update. Doesn't matter if I totally uninstall the Printer, ReBoot, and then run Win Update. I can even run Win Update, install the driver, and then run Win Update directly again, and it finds the very same update once again. And installs it once again, and when i run Win Update once again, it finds the same driver, once again, Why is this, what is wrong with Win7's Updates?

HP Laserjet 1018
Initially I could not load drivers for this printer, even in Vista compatibility mode and posted a query here. I have now succeeded. The downloaded driver has an initial extraction stage. You need to do this extraction only first into a known location. Then run the .exe at this location in Vista compatibility mode and - bingo -Â printer in operation!

HP LaserJet 5000 Drivers
Is there any driver better than the Windows 7 default driver or the ones currently available from HP? Those from HP seem to be actually for a different printer - the HP Color LaserJet CP2025 Series. The real issue is that those drivers only support a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi but the HP LaserJet 5000 has a max resolution is 1200 x 1200 dpi. Any idea how get the max resolution out of the printer?

HP Laserjet MP Postscript Driver
Repeatedly, over several days, while trying to add a printer laserjet printer, when I click the Windows Update button I get the message,Windows was unable to get a list of devices from Windows Update. Please try again later. Nothing else, no error codes. This is the second clean install of Windows 7 (I had to do the second because the first clean install failed to include the system protection tab for System Properties) and has consumed a better part of a three days! What's the problem fix? HP does not provide the drivers (says they are included in the Windows Vista installation which is not much help for a Windows 7 install). Is there another source of the drivers or can they be extracted from the Vista package?

HP LaserJet 4L Printer Driver
I am missing the HP LaserJet 4L printer driver - it was included in Vista, but not in W7. According to HP it should be downloadable by Windows Update, but I can not find it. Of cause I have no parallelport in my machine, the printer is attached with a USB->Centronics cable to a network box, so I need to download the driver, W7 can not autodetect it (since the printer is not directly connected to the PC). Any ideas ?
