HP Deskjet 5440 Drivers
May 30, 2009I have a HP Deskjet 5440 printer. I was able to install it and have it print in Windows 7 beta but I cannot get the drivers to work in the RC version.

Mar 16, 2009i'm having trouble installing my HP Deskjet 1280 on windows 7, I have previously installed it on Vista with no problems, however now I seem to be having problems.
I do have the install Cd, but when inserted it gives me an error message saying to use the "add printer" option in control panel. But when i use this and select "have disk" it does not recognize a printer driver to install.

Edit: I uninstalled the printer and connected it again. It automatically connected to windows update and installed itself.

I did eventually find a driver that would work the laser, but the Deskjet escapes me. This is an A3 printer, less than 2 years old, and I REALLY don't want to have to buy another one. Anyone help, please?
