HP Photosmart 3210 AIO Scanner / Printer Via Network
HP Photosmart 3210 AIO scanner/printer via network - found but not connected. I searched the forum and did not find mention of this specific All-in-One printer/scanner. Mine is connected to the same router and my pc and and using the 32-bit Vista drivers and 32-bit Win7 RC 7100. I go through setup and my printer is found by the driver but then I get the error - "Device Setup has failed to complete" Has anyone found a solution to this issue?

Samsung Ml-2510 Printer Driver
I have a Samsung ML-2510 that I recently purchased and I can not get it to work with Windows 7. I have tried the xp driver and the Vista driver running in vista compatibility mode as an administrator and have had no success. The reason I bought this printer was because my older hp deskjet 3745 would not work with Windows 7 and it had no vista driver so I ran it in compatibility mode and it also did not work. Both these printers work fine in xp mode. I would like help with the samsung primarily but also with the hp.

Dell AIO 944 Photo Driver Problem
I have just replaced my dad's old computer - just the stack, have left all the peripherals as they were all fine (monitor, kb, mouse, printer). The new computer was pre-installed with windows 7. Everything seems to work perfectly but it failed when trying to install the driver for the dell photo aio 944. According to the dell and ms website it is not a supported product. I tried the xp drivers - the printer was added to the printers list but nothing would print. I tried to install the vista drivers, but got some kine of VB error when I ran the set-up. Is there any way to get this printer to work with win 7 (even with limited functionality) as I would hate to throw it away - the printer is perfect and they only use maybe once a fortnight.

Dell Photo AIO 944 Printer Driver
Can't get the Dell Printer to work. It's connected to a desktop and has been running normally with my wireless home network. Wife's friend installed W7RC on her computer and now we can see the computer but can't print to it. Tried to find printer drivers for it online and they don't exist.

HP PSC 2510 All In One
SPECS: - Windows 7 RC - build 7100 Ultimate x64 - HP PSC 2510 All-In-One ISSUE: Windows 7 does not have an out-of-the-box driver for the HP PSC 2510. Windows 7 does have a generic driver for the 1500/1600 series (which works with the PSC 2510) but only supports basic printing and does not support Scanning & Faxing capabilities of the PSC 2510 device. The official HP PSC 2510 driver + printer tools download (Vista x64 - almost 500MB) do NOT install on Windows 7 RC, even in Vista /SP1/SP2 compatibility mode. RESULT: Only basic printing functionality of the HP PSC 2510 is available on Windows 7 RC. All advanced scanning and faxing capabilities are lost on Windows 7 RC. REQUEST: Please provide out-of-the-box support for the HP PSC 2510 All-In-One printer, including printing, scanning and faxing.

Samsung ML-2510 Printer Problem
I tried searching this before couldn't find a thread with the issue I have... 1) Windows 7 64bit has a Samsung ML-2510 USB printer installed 2) I shared the printer in Windows 7 3) x64 drivers are installed but could not installed x86 drivers. It keeps saying the driver is not for the processor architecture (using the driver I used for WinXp) 4) In Advanced Sharing Options, I enabled Sharing and disabled password. I only have one account with no password, on Win 7 Machine. 5) Windows Xp laptop is a work machine and part of a domain, so I can NOT change the workgroup to "Workgroup" 6) Tried installing the printer using Win7MachineSamsung command in Winxp run dialog 7) Printer windows opens up showing "Initializing" and then get 'ready' 8) NOTHING happens when I try to print a test page. Is there a way I can use the printer? I used to be able to print without any problem, when I was on XP.

Driver Scanner Software
I´ve had some issue concerning my hardware drivers and today I´ve been testing out some of the programs that´s out there. Driver Max, Drive Checker, Uniblue Drive scanner and Drive Robot. They are all free to download and use for scanning, but when you want to use their driver updater you will have to buy a premium account. The problem I see is that the scanning gives different results on different programs. Uniblue drive scanner that is approved by Microsoft said that all my drivers are up to date, so did Windows in Device manager. The rest said that 6-10 drives were outdated and when I downloaded one of the the recommended driver versions, manually, the install program said that I already had a newer version of the driver installed. So what I´m asking if someone have a premium account and had a good result? I don´t want to pay $29 and get nothing out of it.

Epson 2450 Scanner Driver
I have an Epson 2450 scanner. There is a 32 bit (but not 64 bit) vista driver, and xp drivers. I'm running W7E/64. W7 won't install any of the epson drivers. I was hoping XP mode would allow me to use the scanner in the VM. So far, no luck. I can install the XP drivers in the VM, but I can't attach the device on the USB menu (it lists it and says "attach", but it doesn't attach). My understanding of XP mode was it existed to provide compatibility for devices for which there was no workable W7 driver. Is this incorrect?

Epson GT 7000 Scanner 64 Bit Driver
have installed Win7 (64bit) a few days ago and -of course- have the same problems. For example I have an Epson GT7000 scanner. No drivers are available from Epson and I don't expect them to write one as the scanner is too old for this. Simmilar problems will cause a lot of fully working hardware to be thrown. It might benefit the economy but is hardly environmentally acceptable. My current sollution is to run Win7 in XP mode, scan there, then open the files in win7 & photoshop. It is of course far less conveniant than calling a Twain driver out of photoshop directly. Unfortunately this is not the only problem I have. For example I can't get a network printer server driver. So to print I have to switch on a second computer running Windows XP, which shares the networked printer...  My question: Is it possible to install just drivers in XP mode and access them via Win7 dirctly (Some sort of XP driver mode)? It would be far more efficient to make Win7 backwards compatible than asking all device manufacturers to write new drivers.

Canon Scanner 4200F Driver Problems
Canon Scanner 4200F; OS Windows 7 (64) Downloaded, from Canon site, the CanoScan toolbox AND the 64 bit driver. Both installed correctly and are recognized by the system. When I tried to scan, using the toolbox, the Scanner lamp goes on but the scan will not initiate and the error "Cannot communicate with the scanner - check cable and connection." Changed USB ports - same msg. reloaded drivers - same msg. Canon help claims that the problem is that the OS is "blocking the Communication" Q: If this is true how do I unblock?

Mustek Bearpaw 1200CS Scanner Driver
My name is Jeff. I just loaded Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit on my computer. I have a Mustek Bearpaw 1200 CS scanner, but Windows 7 is not reading the software. Does anyone know where I could get a free updated driver that will read by older scanner. Answer:- Download the newest XP drivers from this site: http://www.mustek.com/mustek/supportdrivers.php Get the one file installation. You will not be able to install the drivers but you can trick them to work. The procedure is simple: Do not plug in the scanner, start up the Empty your systemrootwindows emp folder Srart the instalation and when it asks "Select Language" stop there. Then copy the all contents (files and folders) of WindowsTemp to another folder (e.g. systemroot1) Then plug in the scanner and windows should be able to find the drivers there if not guide it to that location and let it install Mustek Twain drivers. Enjoy your scanner.
