MY HP5510 All-In-One printer sends but won't receive faxes all of a sudden. MY operating system is Windows 7. I don't know if I did anything to cause this. Also when clicking the Print command it sometimes freezes all the functions in that particular window.

My laptop recognises the printer but the printer does not print anything requested by the laptop. The PC prints perfectly. Sharing appears to be set up correctly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a LAN with 2 laptops and one desktop connected. The desktop has an HP Photosmart D7160 connected via a USB port. Both laptops have had Windows 7 installed for several months. The desktop was recently upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. After the upgrade, one of the laptops will still print, but the other laptop will not. The correct printer driver has been installed on both laptops. Reinstalling the printer driver on the desktop did not help. When the desktop had Vista installed, all printing functions were fine. I suspect a network problem, but don't know how to attack it. All computers are running Kaspersky Internet Security. I have tried disabling Kaspersky on the problem laptop, but no help.

My local system uses a brother HL-5250DN printer hooked up via a network cable (otherwards, it's not directly connected).
My remote computer was running Visa Ultimate and when I connected from home, it would see the Brother printer from the Windows 7 machine.
Since I upgraded the remote system to Windows 7, the printer is no longer seen remotely.
Any suggestions?
