Since I've upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit from Vista, the webcam and sd card reader that are built into my laptop will not work. I have searched for drivers on the Sony site and they have not worked, and I have also downloaded some Ricoh drivers but to no avail.
Sony Vaio VPCEB25FG- motion eye webcam doesn't exist anywhere in the Device Manager - not under Imaging Devices, Sony Visual Communication Camera or Unknown Devices. It does not appear anywhere. The laptop does have a graphics card and I have the ATI driver running - I don't know if it a related issue though. The laptop also came with Arcsoft Wecam companion software and the webcam used to work perfectly fine with it.I don't know what has changed but now when I start this software, it comes up as the trail period for this software has expired. Surely, this software will not make the camera disappear all together from the device manager. All methods of re-installing the driver are useless for me because I can't even see the device.
I bought a new sony vaio machine and the drivers are not properly installed. The drivers are also out of date. Please l need your help to know how l can download the drivers for my machine to work effectively.
