I'm looking for a 64bit driver for the Designjet 600. I can't go buy another plotter, like i'm sure some would suggest, and I know that HP didn't make one. I have Win7 64bit, so 32bit drivers won't work?
I'M running a Laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit OSThe Printer is an HP DesignJet 750c Plus plotter. I have downloaded the latest U.P.D.'s, v5.4 for 64-bit Windows 7, from HP. I'm not sure which of the 3 drivers to use.I'm also running an Linksys E2000 Router and an HP External DirectJet Plus (2591A).How to make the plotter work in this environment. I have a HP-5000 LaserJet using the U.P.D.(v5.3) thru the router and it works fine. It's just that the DesignJet is giving me issues.
So this problem started yesterday afternoon. I didn't download anything, but suddenly I was unable to browse the web. I tried all the web browsers I have but no websites would load. But skype and teamspeak still work.
My work programs require XP and supposedly will not function on windows 7 nor the XP mode of same. I need a new computer, most likely a laptop, so I can work while traveling. I can't buy XP anymore. Any suggestions other than a new job?

I recently went to a Microsoft event where I received a free copy of Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit. I am wondering if the Key would be good for a 64 bit version.
I would rather have the 64bit, want to download that version and use the Key from the 32bit version. Can it be done?

So I installed some weird file and it like disabled ALL of my USB ports, hwo can I get them to work again?! Both my keyboard and mouse are USB and I don't have any regular ones, any way I can fix this through my 2nd partition using WinXP? im using the Win XP partition to ask this right now, my Win7 partition seems to run fine like when it happened I thought it froze but it didn't because the wifi signal went off from my USB wireless adapter and my mouse+keyboard adapter both light off as well as my DVC 80 capture device. The file I ran was 'libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.12.2.exe' from a package I downloaded in a zip called 'iHackintosh iRecovery Package for Windows & Mac' and I REALLY DONT want to restart my computer

I need to install Internet Explorer 8 on Windows 7 (64-bit, SP1). Firstly, there's no download link for Windows 7 on the Microsoft Download page as apparently all Windows 7 installations already have IE8 installed. Mine doesn't - I have IE9, and on add/remove Windows components, IE9 is my only option. Secondly, using the download link for IE8 for Vista x64 doesn't work, even when running with compatibility mode for Vista, the installation fails, for an unknown reason.
Thirdly, downloading the developer pack IEAK8 and using that to generate my own custom build of IE8 for Win7 failed because despite choosing the x64 option, it refuses to build anything except an x86 version, which of course won't run on my x64 OS. I'm kinda running out of options here. There doesn't seem to be a version of IE8 available for Windows 7 - but surely developers etc must be able to install it for troubleshooting?.
I have a problem with hibernation on my laptop (HP pavilion 6830). When I want to hibernate, my computer just log out, then the monitor is black and in a few second it displays log in screen with my account. The laptop does not hibernate and does not turn off. I proved it in all power plans but without change. My laptop is dual-boot with opensuse linux.
I have an error don't know what to do. If i can get it to work I can then hopefully do a clean install and that should fix the other errors. Here is a snippet of the problem.
When I got Windows 7 about five months ago, I needed to reinstall several drivers and software components either missing or in need of an update. My CD-DVD drive remained unresponsive and hardly worked right. Thinking it was a registry problem, I ventured out until I found some "help". The little bastards insisted that the key I downloaded, and placed within the depths of the registry, was going to help. Now, not only does the CD-DVD drive work less, by less, it cops out and goes missing (literally MISSING) if I even pause or idle a single movie or game, but now it has screwed up Itunes as well. I tried uninstalling the software, but it has done little good.
