Compaq Nx 6110 Sound Drivers For Windows 7?

i am using Windows 7 on my lappi but no sound can be heard from the speakers but comes in headphones . i have a compaq CQ45 lappi with AMD motherboard and altec lansing integrated speakers. i dont have drivers for speakers so a message appears as no audio device found. please tell me where i can find the drivers and also what the problem is all about?

Hi. I just updraded from Windows XP to Window 7. Everyone thing works good except my sound. The sound icon in the lower right corned is xed out, and says that no audio ouput device is installed. When I click that to detect for problems it says:

Hardware changes might not have been detected.

I have a Compaq Presario V5000 (ET826UA#ABA)

System type: X86-based PC

Processor: AMD Turion(tm) 64 Mobile Technology

In hardware tabs, there's an error code 28 next to the audio adapter.

Sound / AUDIO Problem On HP COMPAQ DC7100

I've installed Windows 7 and it really looks neat and fast, but I have one problem and it's getting my soundcard working.

I've downloaded the vista drivers from HP from HP Compaq dc7100 Small Form Factor PC*-* Download drivers and software - HP Business Support Center.

Ive run it in compatibility mode on operating system Windows Vista and installed them. Now theres an exclamation mark in Device manager.

Ive uninstalled the drivers so it would be clean:

During the install windows7 asks me this:

When the installer says: Installation complete I look in the device manager and see this:

The strange thing is the files dmkaud.sys and dm.sys

cant be found anywhere on my system.

How can I fix this guys? What can I do?

I checked the site all it says is that they have multimedia drivers for Lightscribe, I need the drivers for audio does anyone have a link or have it? i tried to download the vista 64 bit but obviously it didnt work it was worth a try though.
