We have received new Win 7 64-bit laptops at work and I am trying to find a driver that works for the Canon imageRunner 6000 printer, but having no luck.
I have tried almost all of the drivers for the 64-bit here:

The first thing that you should try is to connect using the wired network and apply all updates. It's possible that a driver may have been added that was not part of the retail package (this certainly happens with printers).
The second thing that you should be aware of is that there are a number of different chipsets used for the wireless network in the Inspiron so the following link may or may not help. (A solution is given in the last but one post.)
Where can I find a sound driver for my Dell Inspirion 6000 with Windows 7 Ultimate? I have tried the dell website and downloaded sigmatel drivers but it still will not play any sound. What Can I do?
Just bought a new computer with windows 7, can't get Canon multipass F50 driver to download. Apparently there is an incompatability issue between the two...Who's at fault here and what can I do about it? I need the printer and can't afford a new one and I've given away the old computer. Help!
Does Canon need to update their drivers or can Windows 7 OS come to my rescue?
My problem is i just bought a brand new computer HP Pavillion running Windows 7 Home Premium edition, and I am having trouble installing my Canon laser Printer LBP 3000.
I have downloaded it but when I try to install it i get the following error message:
<"Cannot correctly run this installer on this operating system, Use an installer compatible with this system"> I have tried with the windows compatibility program, still no success.
lve been looking high and low for a printer drivers for the printer mentioned in the title.while l have found a 32bit driver l cannot find a 64bit one and the installation program keeps on telling me when l try the 32bit driver lve found that its not for 64bit OSs, and all the compatable software l have located seems to be just that.addon software for those who actually have the printer driver.if l was running a 32bit system.anyone know where l could pick up an actual driver for the canon IP1900 printer that works on a 64bit version of Windows 7
Just after some help with the MP780 on 7 x64. The printer is plugged in via USB to another machine on the network. On the 7 machine I am running through the add printer wizard, which finds the printer and looks for drivers.
The first problem is that it can't find the MP780 drivers on Windows Update, which I think it should.
After it fails there, it asks to find the inf manually. I have downloaded the drivers from the Canon Australia website but that's just an installer. I have also downloaded drivers from other random driver sites but it just gives me fax and scan infs, nothing else.
