Cannot Get All Speakers To Work/no Realtek Audio Manager
May 18, 2012
I have a Logitech x-530 system that I'm trying set up to my HP Compaq dx2400 Microtower computer. I've plugged in the three connectors to the pins - red in red, pink in pink and blue in black - just like I did on my other computer. However, it only plays sound from the front two speakers.
I make matters worse, I have NO Realtek Audio Manager, and if I edit my speaker settings from the control panel, then I ONLY have the option to choose 2.1 sound - no 5.1.
It doesn't seem to work. Every time I click it, it gives me no audio. I have verything set up right so don't bother telling me to go into more properties. Is there a 3rd party program that can handle this instead? The decoder on Windows sucks with my receiver and I want to use the receivers decoder.
I'm at my wits end on a problem here. The sound on my computer is not working because the Realtek driver (or the motherboard, not sure which) is not recognizing my speakers that are plugged in. I get this:
I have tried to re-install any and all drivers that may be affected with no success. Tried restarting, messing with the BIOS, to no avail. What should I do now? This is seriously holding up my work (I'm a music composer).
So I just switched motherboards from a Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 to a Biostar TZ77XE3. With the Gigabyte board, I could plug in both my sets of speakers, having 4 outputting sound at the same time. Now, however, I have my microphone plugged into the pink hole, and my primary speakers plugged into the green hole. However, I've tried plugging in my second set of speakers to every audio plug on the board, and it still seems like it doesn't want to output sound. In the Realtek HD Audio Manager, only the first set of speakers is recognized as being plugged in the analog, but not the second.
I have a wired problem with realtek hd r237 windows 7 drivers:
I don't have any sound on laptop's internal speakers but i can hear in headphones. In PLAYBACK DEVICES headphones are detected as speakers and when i unplug them sound automatically turns to SPDIF- no sound on internal speakers.
If a make a sound test (with headphones pluged in) whith Quadraphonic selection i can hear FL in my left headphone ,FR in my right headphone,RL in left internal speaker and RR in right internal speaker.
I just bought a pc, windows 7 32bit. I tried to use my headphones but couldnt hear any sound, also tried speakers still no sounds. The green bar goes up on the volume control tho. I have tried downloading some drivers, but they didnt work.
theres some audio ports at the back of the pc and at the front. both dont work.
I have a problem locating my Realtek Hd Audio Manager, I have read through many posts such as updating your drivers, uninstalling then re-installing, restarting your computer, make sure to check my BIOS, check in control panel, things like that.
And in conclusion I think I have 2 possible explanations, the first one is that the current driver (updated) doesn't support the realtek hd audio manager? (I read on someone else's post that he had to rollback/downgrade his drivers for his audio manager to appear.
My last solution is... that I don't even have the Realtek Hd Audio manager chip on my motherboard? Possible Nvidia Hd Audio? Because I have 4 Nvidia Hd Audios, and only 1 Realtek.
This is what i'm using, Newegg.com - SONY VPCF116FX/B NoteBook Intel Core i7 720QM(1.60GHz) 16.4" 4GB Memory DDR3 1333 500GB HDD 7200rpm BD Combo NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M
I have an alienware X51 with windows 7 and I tried hooking my 5.1 surround sound system to it. But for some reason when I set it up as 5.1 surround sound only my front speakers are working (yet when I actually test it using the realtek driver all the speakers work). After days of research I found out that I needed the updated driver for realtek (which has additional settings to fix the surround sound conflict). So I downloaded the driver, installed it and now for some reason when I try to open the audio manager it does not open. I checked my control panel and it shows that the driver is installed. I also have the icon on the bottom left. But when I try clicking it, it doesnt open.
about a week ago my realtek audio manager started literally changing settings by itself when I haven't touched the mice or keyboard for about 10 minutes or so. It's quite annoying since i have to change it back to the settings I need every time it does that. It was working just fine before that. I've got no idea at all what could have caused this whatsoever.
i have had the realtek audio mangers long ago with my old motherboard but i have not gotten it to work with my new better motherboard. I use a Asus m4a77 motherboard it supports 7.1 systems and i use a 5.1 system. i have downloaded realtek drivers all day now but non come with the manager. last time i used the manager was back when i used Windows xp.I have tried looking in the control panel to find it but it isn't there for me. Where can i find it?I don't have the red sound icon down by the clock so i can't get into the audio manger and i need to get in there to set up my 5.1 syste
I am unable to locate Realtek HD Audio Manager on Windows 7. I have the latest drivers installed, and I can access the Realtek soundcard properties through the control panel, but I cannot seem to find the Realtek HD Audio Manager program anywhere.
A month ago, I got my brand new, very nice Aurora R4 Alienware computer. A week after that the Realtek HD Audio Manager stops working every time I start my computer. It is very annoying. I still get sound, although now after trying to troubleshoot it, Vent tells me Direct Sound can't be enabled because it can't find a driver. Which of course is even more annoying.
The error message says : Quote :Problem signature: Problem Event Name:APPCRASH Application Name:RtkNGUI64.exe
[code] So I bought a new computer not too long ago and I've had some issues with my headset and whatnot. I have a ASUS Xonar DX sound card with an optic fibre cable for my Logitech Z-5500 system and they worked just fine with it.However, when I bought my headset (Steelseries 7H Fnatic, normal non-USB) I had issues. When I plugged them into my motherboard it couldn't find them. And when I tried to plug them into my Xonar card, people I was skyping with could hear my sounds (videos I watched etc) even though I had earplugs. So I removed the card and decided I'd go with the normal drivers etc. So I checked ASUS website and got the drivers.I installed the drivers (Xonar drivers uninstalled clean before) and it asks me to reboot. I reboot and I get the message: "No speakers or headphones are plugged in." from the system tray. I run dxdiag and no sound card is detected (it's just empty where there should be driver names etc). In the control panel there is no Realtek option etc. When I check the folder it only has 2 folders:Drivers and InstallShield. They contain files named RtlUpd64 (application), USetup.iss and the InstallShield contains Rtkupd64 (application).
I uninstalled/reinstalled and rebooted etc several times but I never get it in the control panel or the system tray. BIOS etc are the lastest for my motherboard, and I never had this issue before. In BIOS the settings are to HD audio. I'm pretty sure I haven't screwed up the assembly of the computer, because I've been building my own for a very long time. In the control panel I can currently see "Digital Audio (HDMI)" 2 through 5 (2,3,4,5) and they're not plugged in it says. On recording there is nothing.
It's not in my control panel, I've reinstalled drivers 3 times from 3 different places, I looked in the Realtek folder for an exe that I'm pretty sure is called RAVCpl64 and found nothing. I found the aforementioned exe in my driverstore folder, but when I run it, nothing happened. I forgot to mention I'm running Win7x64, and am using a custom built PC with an Asus M4A77TD board.
Every 5 minutes or so the audio manager says something has been disconnected and then instantly reconnected putting it in front of every other window and being annoying because it doesn't self minimize. is there a way to stop this the sound card is a realtek alc898 i tried turning off taskbar notifications but it still opens up. I've tried pulling the jack out out, cleaning it and cleaning it, but it still happens.
I having trouble with my REALTEK HD audio driver on my netbook. This happened after i upgraded my system from Windows XP to Windows 7 Home Basic. After I upgraded the system, I have successfully installed all my drivers and they are working normally except my audio driver. I can't get it to work!I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, setting compatibility with my drivers to XP, replace with another driver,
I think I need a manual for the Realteck High definitin audio. Thee are so many settings, I don't know what to do. I just bought Feder A111 2.1 multimedia speaker and it only works when I press headphone that doesn't sem right. Can I get a manual?

Recently my audio manager pops up advising that I have diconnected my speakers however, I'll be listening to music or watching tv with no sound loss or interuption. Device manager indicates all drivers are up to date (vers: 6.0.1.6251). What's causing this and how do I correct it?
