Whenever I play online games, like s4 league or some Mmmorpg, I eventually get a blue screen after hour(s) of playing. To narrow down the problem, I would say that I have been getting these blue screens pretty much a couple weeks after getting this computer. Meaning it's likely not because I downloaded something.
View 7 Replies View RelatedEvery 3 hours i get one big BSOD only when i play this game. I also play the game from a laptop and its working very well on it.Found earlier here on the forum Driver Update and FixCleaner and bought them. I thought it will find the problem...but it didnt?
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy gaming laptop has always had BSOD problems ever since purchase. It occurs sporadically, sometimes once a month to once every day for a week. It occurs mostly while playing video games, but has sometimes happened randomly while internet browsing. I created a thread on these forums 2 weeks ago for a BSOD problem. Here is the link: [URL] I followed all the instructions that i was given, and everything was fine until a couple days ago, where i had another BSOD. I have had 3 BSOD so far, on the 6th, 7th, and 9th of December. Here are my computer specs:
-Asus G60JX
-Windows 7 - x64
-Nvidia Geforce GTS 360M
-OEM
-1 1/2 years old.
-Have never reformatted or reinstalled OS.
-Updated to the latest bios version about a month ago hoping to solve BSOD problem.
everytime I play Battlefield 3 I get in max. 30 minutes a BSOD. And it ONLY happens with this game, everything else works perfectly fine without crashes or whatsoever. This has been going on since half December, which is about a week after I updated my drivers. It first happened once or twice, where I though that it was just coincidence, but now it happens every time I try to play Battlefield 3.Since it happened a bit after updating the drivers, I thought it was that. Today most of the drivers needed to be updated again, including the infamous Realtek sound drivers that are supposed to give problems with Battlefield 3, so I updated them hoping it would solve the problem. No dice, I still get a BSOD when playing Battlefield 3.Dump files are in the attachment. I didn't include the perfmon HTML file since it refuses to generate a report, even when the Performance Logs & Alert service is set on manual.

I've played this game many times on this laptop without this error up till now. I've attached the mini dump file in this post but i did not attach the perfmon /report however because I would receive an error saying that the data collection has timed out.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've recently just built a new rig and have experienced several BSOD's when playing BF3. The strange thing is I can sometimes play the game all day and experience no issue and then sometimes just have constant BSOD's when playing BF3 - especially when it is loading the map!My screen just goes black with an infinite sound loop and I am unable to alt + ctrl + del or anything, my computer is literally dead until I restart it..My CPU and GPU temps are fine, I mean.. I can play for up to 5 hours and the temps are still good. For instance, I was just playing the game with Fraps (see the FPS) was playing at 58 fps on ultra.. and as soon as I press F9 to start recording.. BANG.. the computer is dead, again!!I have literally tried everything; uninstalling graphics drivers, install graphics drivers, flash graphics & bios, disable sound, buy a sound card, play on low settings.. literally everything. My specs are: ASUS P8Z68-V LX MOTHERBOARD G.SKILL RIPJAWS-X 8GB(2X4)16 C9 GIGABYTE GEFORCE GTX 560TI OC Intel i5 2500k 3.3GhzCoolermaster Hyper Evo CoolerNovatech 750W ATX Power SupplyWhen I go to event viewer, it logs the BSOD as "critical", "kernal-power", with an event ID of 41.

I recently built a pc and I had windows vista running on it and everything was fine. Bought a 128gb Samsung 830 SSD and windows 7 Home Premium 64bit this week and did a fresh install. I had many BSOD's during the windows installation, mostly IRQL, but finally got it installed and running. Now when I try and play Battlefield 3, I am able to play for a few minutes before my pc BSOD's. It seems to mostly be IRQL errors, but I've also got pfn_list_corrupt, memory management, and bad pool header BSOD's.
I have tried a lot of things to see what the issue may be. I got the latest video card drivers for my card, GTX560, since that seemed to me like the probable cause, but I am still getting BSOD's. I ran memtest for 6+ hours and received no errors and did a check disk on my boot drive with no errors as well.

I'm not sure what is causing this, so I thought I'd ask here. I've attached what you have asked for.
EDIT: I'd also like to point out that even when it does not BSOD, after some time (ranges from 1 minute to 1 hour), the game crashes.
There are some BSOD-s lately. Happened almost excluselively under BF3, but if i remember correctly, once it happened under Starcraft 2 aswell. The problem is , that it skips fast before i can see the numbers under the BSOD.

View 5 Replies View Relatedplaying battlefield 3 i've experienced both bsod and the program to stop running. when the bsod occurs the screen blacks out then the video comes back but the image is made out of a bunch of lines like the video split up and moved around. then the bluescreen comes up. (not sure how else to explain how it looks). theres also a deep beap sound that plays sometimes as well.
i've also experienced an issue with other games, most recently europa universalis 3 where the game stops running as well. sometimes the game runs fine without crash and i've played for 3 - 4 hours on two different occasions but the play after only lasts a few minutes. my drivers are all up to date so i don't think they are the issue.just now i ran a program through the action center that i guess looked for solutions to problems and every problem that showed up is a "video hardware error"

i read somewhere that audio drivers could cause issues. i have high definition audio as well as the realtek audio driver.i don't know if i should upload those files that the problem report reported so don't know. i've also been formatting videos for Internet and running my cpu at 85% so i don't think its the cpu overheating like i've heard can happen.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've encountered this crash around 6 times in the last few days, always when running games: Star Trek Online [throuh Steam], Neverwinter Nights 2 [through Steam] and Sid Meiers Pirates.I have filled in as many of the system details as I can to the profile - if more are needed, please tell me how to get the information.I also attach reports from CPU-Z, the Minidump and what I can from SF Diag Tool. The most recent changes I have made to my computer are: Defragmentation C drive. Windows 7 defrag. 10 passes. 22/04/12 approx 1400-1800GMT Uninstall multiple games 22/04/12Install driver for Logitech N305 Wireless NumberPad approx 5/04/12 [This component works correctly]It's been suggested that it may be a fault with the GPU - apparently, the driver from it was last updated 29/07/09. I'd prefer not to fiddle with it until we're sure that that caused the problem, which first arose around a month ago.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI seem to be getting somewhat random BSOD errors. As far as I have noticed they are all 0x0000003B.It generally happens after playing a game for a while but the game doesn't seem to make a difference and sometimes it doesn't happen for days.I have not installed any new hardware for over 6 months and also generally keep my drivers as up-to-date as I can.I have also noticed that for some reason after a computer restart (or crash), sometimes after the Windows 7 logo appears and before the login screen sometimes my monitors stop receiving signal and it can take sometimes up to 7 minutes before they regain it and I am presented with the login screen.

View 3 Replies View Relatedim tryingto fix my crashing error with the code 0x0000003b. I recently built a PC little by little using an older PC. I would swap out parts on the old one as I received them. Looking back on it now I regret not just performing a one time swap. Everything is new except for dvd drive and hard drive and the windows that was on the hard drive. (I used sysprep.exe to prepare the windows install for the out of box experience then reactivated windows. I did this about 3 weeks ago. Every since I fired up I have been having regular crashes every 40-50 minutes after using the keyboard. I thought it was a driver so I went to the sites of every new product i bought and got new drivers and even went through the device manger and updated drivers for everything in their but still no luck. I also checked that everything hardware wise was connected and re-seated. I ran memtest with no errors for more than 7 passes. I got rid of Norton and replaced with Microsoft essentials. It was weird because I only got the actual blue screen twice and it was during gta IV, but spat out the same error code. normally the screen goes into lines and the audio skips then it restarts. It doesn't appear to happen in safe mode or when I use my xbox controller. I then thought it was something wrong with my mouse, keyboard which is a logitech mx3200 keyboard and a logitech mx600 mouse both wireless. I tried using a different keyboard and mouse but still same problems. I attached dump files and system health below. I hope one of you smarter-than-me gentlemen can see something I don't. The blue screen view program spits out the same error code: 0x0000003b and always highlights ntoskrnl.exe and another driver/program like: usbohci.exe, VirtDiskBus64.exe, blbdrvie.exe, and RTKVHD.exe and etc.
