i've been getting occasional screen freezes and more recently BSOD, mostly when playing gamesyou can offer from the files i have attached as i'm not able to read any of the crash dump files.
View 6 RepliesI have started playing Guild Wars 2, after the first couple of days my game started to freezing and black screen to desktop before going back into game to only black screen again. At times my monitor would say no signal. The problem disappeared for close to 5 days and came back up again. I've tried playing other games and the problem is similar, freezing to desktop, black screen and crashing to desktop.During the black screen to desktop I would get 'Display driver stopped responding and has recovered'. I have updated to a few different drivers including the latest stable driver from Nvidia but the problem still exists.I have ran VMT for 10 passes with no errors.
Prime95 Small FFTs for over 2hours with no errors.Running FurMark the test does complete when I run BenchMark(user's setting) when I do the Burn In-Test everything looks okay until my GPU hits 80c. The computer would shut off then. Though when I play games my gpu varies between 50 to 62c[CODE]
I have a problem with my laptop. Sometimes while running a full screen program (no specific program caused the error) a BSOD would occur.

I would get a random black screen while playing an online game on my laptop (this happens randomly but usually 15-30mins after starting Windows and start playing the game). After the black screen appeared, it would automatically reboot to this windows error recovery page with options to go into safe mode (networking/command prompt) or just boot windows normally.I chose to boot Windows normally but after getting into Windows 7 and started playing a while, a random BSOD would appear. It has happened for 2-3 days straight. The attached is the mini dump.
Note: I did not install anything new to my laptop, I have ran chkdsk and sfc /scannow and found nothing.I have no idea what caused the black screen and the BSOD.
When I'm playing games, windows starts to freeze.
So I'm unable to move my cursor, the sound starts to repeat every split-second.
I've checked my temperatures, but they're all stable at around 50-55�C.
My graphics card is up-to-date with the latest Win 7 drivers, provided by nvidia.
After a hard reboot, nothing shows up in my events log.
i keep getting BSODS,Freeze,Crash when playing games, watching some videos......it happened after someone tried to install a game after he played it for some few mins it started to crash,freeze and bsod. Unfortunately even after we formatted our laptop it still crashes whenever playing games or videos but it rarely happens when watching videos but the real concern is that it crashes sometimes now and then randomly when using a lot of memory or not...

The problem is, a while back I got this virus called Wolfram Antivirus software, and tried to do everything I could to remove it. It was a pain. The thing is, I think I might have accidentally deleted something in RegEdit, and now my computer (on the ultra rare occasion that it gets to and past the login screen) will tell me that it has encountered a critical error, and will restart in 1 minute.When it does reboot, what will happen, is it will get to the picture of the swirling Windows symbol, but then reboot before making it to login screen. Then it will ask me to do a system repair or start up normally, because it shut down unusually

As far as I can remember the first time I had a BSOD was on the day I installed Max Payne 3 (I read somewhere that the some guy had also this problem when he installed max payne). There were two occasions that I got a BSOD upon starting Max Payne 3. But lately I'm getting BSOD when doing low-load stuffs like browsing with no other apps opened. I've already done memtest with 10 passes with no errors. I'm 24 hours prime95 stable. I just don't get it! I've manually set my timings for my ram. I'm not doing any overclock. Everything is on stock settings.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI never get the bluescreen doing anything but playing games and it's not often but it happens about twice a week. It crashes and WhoCrashed or Bluescreen view always points to ntoskrnl.exe or ntkrnlmp.exe or hal.dll it's always two of those 3. Other than games it runs fine. I did all the memory tests for 3 days and tried the best I could re-seat stuff. It's an alienware so they have it all secured in a way that makes it difficult to get around, and the case weighs around 105 lbs or something crazy.

i'm getting Blue Screens when playing The Sims 3 and World of Warcraft, i have installed Windows 7 twice now and it still keeps going on, but i can play Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 without any problems.
Here are my components:
Motherboard: Elitegroup ESC H61H2-M2
CPU: Intel i5 2500k
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 ti
RAM: 1x Patriot DDR3 4 GB and 1x Patriot DDR3 2 GB
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate edition
I have been having BSOD for a while now and need some help resolving them. [code] I have tried updating drivers and and even re-formated windows and reinstalled everything, but still getting the blue screens.It seems to me that the problem started when i installed the geforce nvidia 295.73 drivers, but im not sure this was the original problem. I have tried reinstalling nvidia 265.58 through the newest 296.10. they all seem to give BSOD. Thought it seems more frequent with the newer drivers. Today i have had 4 BSOD while playing Skyrim.I am not sure why but a dump file is not always created only about 50% of the time. I am posting the ones that i have. I am also posting the system health check and the Dump system file collection from jcgriff2.

Currently when I play a game the BSOD happens randomly, I can go a whole day without it, or it can happen frequently. It happens the most when I close or exit a game, then it'll kick to a blue screen. View 5 Replies View Relatedwhen playing some games, my computer sometimes becomes distorted and reboots, showing the BSOD. This has generally started happening over the last two months, after I installed a new graphics card. Though previously, I didn't really play PC games, so It's hard to say if that's even the reason. It usually only happens once every few days, and only at some games at that. However, I started playing Tribes yesterday, and every time I play it, I get a blue screen within 10 minutes of play without fail. I've tried to see if there are any correlations between the BSODs and what I'm doing, but there doesn't seem to be. The only unusual thing is how often it happens when playing Tribes, a game that isn't nearly as processor, memory or graphically extensive compared to other games I've played without fault.The error, to my knowledge, has always been the same. With the blue screen stating some Uncorrectable Hardware Error. This is what I believe to be the error code in the Event Viewer.

I rarely get the BSODs if I avoid playing my games altogether, hence I suspect it has to do with my video card, or updating its driver or something. View 9 Replies View RelatedI have been getting regular BSOD when I am playing Games. In most cases it happens when I play Battlefield 3, Guild Wars 2 Beta and Warhammer: Space Marine. I tried updating every Driver on my System but that didn't fix anything. I also ran several Virus Scan with no result. I bought this PC in March 2011.

I have had this problem ever since my dad built this computer and even he has no idea what has happened. I am not a computer genius but I came across the windows helps forum so now I am deciding to give it a try. This blue screen occurs most when I am playing games or when I am trying to rate my computer's assesment through the windows experience index sometimes it would say windows assesment tool has stopped responding in the middle of the test, but I think I have finally solved it through the clean boot method that windows has shown me. But the BSOD still happens and I do not know why.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo before I begin, here are the stats of my laptop.Asus G60JX, Windows 7 - x64, Nvidia Geforce GTS 360M -OEM -1 1/2 years old. Have never reformatted or reinstalled OS. So i've had this gaming laptop for around 1 1/2 years old and it's been blue screening since as long as i can remember. I should have taken the laptop back but at that time i was not very knowledgeable about computers (still aren't), and didn't know how bad BSOD's were. As far as the BSOD's go, it actually doesn't occur too frequently, maybe like once every month or so. But, it has happened on a consistent basis, ever since as long as i can remember. 95% of the time, the BSOD's occur while playing games.

They are I believe, bad pool header errors.I am running a custom built older PC with Windows 7 Pro-64bitAMD Athlon 64 x2 4200+4GB RamASUS A8NNvidia GeForce 8600 GTSI ran a memory check and nothing showed and I believe my drivers are all up to date. In Device Manager I have two unknown devices on PCI standard ISA bridges and and a creative game port on PCI bus 4, device 8, function 1 showing errors.
