I recently bought a new dell laptop. Im running a Windows 7 Home premium x64. Now since the start i have noticed a few weird things happening. 1. When ever im using a browser ie. Internet explorer and google chrome, my browser scrolls down automatically to the bottom page even if im typing or watching a video.2. when im playing a fulls screen online video my video tends to auto pause.3. when ever i donot have a browser open and i open any other window/application everything minimizes, though i haven't noticed these issues when im playing game in full screen.

I reinstalled my copy of windows 7 recently, and shortly thereafter have been bugged by this pesky message for a while. I followed the instructions on the Windows Genuine posting instructions, so here is the report from MGAdiag tool.

I have been trying for a couple of days now to figure out the source of some BSODs that have occurred over the last week or so. It started when I was playing Dungeon Siege III, so I attributed it to the game being new, and just tolerated them. Now I ham getting them when i try and do some HD rendering with Sony Vegas Movie Studio. It doesn't happen all the time, but randomly on different clips and different parts of clips.

My Dell XPS 15 undergoes BSOD when trying to put it in sleep by closing the lid. The computer fails to go to sleep and the heatsink fan keeps running. One of the BSODs were caused by Netwns64.exe, I had therefore updated the intel wifi drivers but other BSODs were caused by NTOskrnl.exe.

After reinstalling windows 7 via the partition in my notebook a few months back, this problem has occurred. "Windows 7, Build 7601, This copy of windows is not genuine". This has actually happened twice now, the first time I was able to fix it by updating the clock as it was out by about a year. But now it's returned about a month later and I can't seem to find a fix. I'll be surprised if windows is not genuine as it's OEM with the Microsoft sticker on the bottom of the case and bought from a big store.

I'm having issues with activating my Windows 7 product key. My desktop background has gone black with a small note at the right bottom corner with the message:
Windows 7 build 7601 this copy of Windows is not genuine.
I own a 3 year old Toshiba laptop (running Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit), the OEM product key sticker on my laptop has worn out, I used a key finder to find my product key. While trying to activate, I keep getting Error 0X8007232B DNS name does not exist. I did try going through the resolution steps here "Stop error code 0x8007232b" or "Stop error code 0x8007007B" when you try to activate Windows without any avail.

There is something wrong with my laptop. I bought this laptop Dell Inspiron 1 year back.It was working all fine until few days back and then all of a sudden, 2 days back, when I switched it on, it kept processing something and it took ~1.5 hours before I could do anything on it.Then I noticed message at right bottom
Windows 7
Build 7601
This window is not Genuine
When I did some search on this, it seems like it's issue with some registry and I suspect that could be the reason my laptop is so slow. I saw people recommend to run MGADIAG diagnostics. Here is the snapshot of MGADiag

My husband's netbook is having issues with Windows Update. It started out okay, but got stuck at 30%. We tried rebooting, but it didn't help. Currently, he can get to the login screen but then the computer just says 'please wait' and sits on a black screen. I've tried using system restore, but for some reason it was turned off and it has no former state to go back to. I've tried chkdsk but that didn't help. I've tried startup repair but it said it didn't find anything wrong. Eventually, I tried letting the computer sit for a while with the black screen to see what would happen and a message popped up that said that the copy of windows wasn't genuine.

My mother received this computer from her government job, and they allowed her to keep it if she fixed it up. She did so and then gave it to me. I've had it a little over a year and now all of a sudden I can't update anything, I can't activate it, everything I do tells me that Windows is not genuine and needs to be activated... saddest part is I'm not sure if she used a "genuine" copy when she restored it.
ran a diagnostic on it... heres what I got:

I have a problem with my daughters laptop - "This copy of Windows is not genuine Build 7601" appeared in the bottom right corner - since then the laptop has slowly deteriorated in performance and has become incredibly slow, almost dead. Nothing seems to run on it properly - no programs, no internet or very very slow to load- Nothing appears to respond well. Its hit and miss as to whether it starts up properly. The laptop is 2-3 years old and came with pre installed software - it is a Dell and was bought direct from Dell.

I have a new(ish) Dell XPS Laptop which is approx 3/4 months old so its still under warranty. I have been in touch with Dell but they keep fobbing me off without fixing the problem. For the past 3 weeks I have been getting random BSOD, sometimes I am using the machine, sometimes not. I am a developer/desiger so I have a lot of apps installed like illustrator, fireworks, visual studio but there are times when none of these are running, its crashing even when surfing the web.

my Dell Studio XPS 1645 (laptop).
To give you some background, I purchased this machine from Dell a little over a year ago it came pre-installed with Windows 7 Premium Home Edition. Since that time the computer has been terrific (aside from running a bit too hot for my liking), and I really have experienced no performance issues.
A week ago Sunday (7/31) I was poking around my taskbar and noticed that I had some updates to install from Microsoft I always thought these were automated but apparently the service pack isnt how long that potential update was sitting there, could have been a while. Regardless, I decided to upgrade to service pack 1 and for about a week nothing dramatic happened.
However, beginning yesterday my computer started to behave a bit odd, almost as if I had a virus. My Internet stopped working, I was getting random errors when attempting to open files. I was getting absolutely pummeled with windows errors (i.e not genuine, windows has stopped working etc. etc.). I was ultimately met with a flashing white screen and computer crash. I attempted a re-start and was met with a blue screen, safe mode wouldnt work, and ultimately after a couple tries it just seemed to randomly start. On that re-start though, I was met with text at the bottom right hand of my screen that said Windows 7 Build 7601 not genuine.
Luckily I have a work PC so Ive been able to do some research online (the impacted machine behaves extremely odd when I get it started). There are TONS of posts about this windows not genuine issue but Ive been struggling identifying the same symptoms I have. Also, it looks like this is a legit result of trying to use pirated software, so I want to make sure that any fix I pursue isnt the Hey this is how you get your pirated software to work! fix but rather the known Microsoft issue these are the best next steps fix.
Thus far Ive attempted a few things (uninstalling SP1, system restore, activating windows online) and all 3 have been met with failure. Basically my computer will freeze, or go through the iteration and nothing will happen. Ive included the diagnostic below

I got a problem since yesterday I get this message from Windows not being genuine. My computer is like 1 1/2 years old and I never had problems since now. I know that my copy of Windows Ultimate is genuine since I activated it by myself well but I sadly don't have the product key anymore since I can't find my installation box. Well I hope that the problem can be fixed without needing a product key.

Recently I have been trying to upgrade one of our computers (Dell Dimension 9150/XPS 400) to Windows 7. While this Dell model is old, a brief search on the internet shows that several people have gotten Windows 7 to work on this model just fine, so I'm inclined to believe this should be doable. I have performed multiple clean installs of Windows 7 Professional (64-bit) on this desktop, but inevitably I will eventually start getting a BSOD. When the computer restarts, I get the notification "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown" with the following details:
Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48

Here are download links to the files that "describe the problem": Minidump file & Sysdata file.
The BSOD is kind of a crap shoot; on some installs of Windows 7 it happens occasionally while on others it happens as soon as the desktop loads. The problem gets worse (or more likely to occur) the farther I progress in "setting up" the computer. Here is a general procedure I have been following:
1) Clean install of Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) on hardrive
2) Install all the Windows 7 Updates (the only drivers installed are those recommended via Windows Update as Dell offers none for this computer on Windows 7)
3) Install Microsoft Security Essentials
4) Install Microsoft Office Professional 2010
5) Install Microsoft Updates for Microsoft Office
6) Install other programs I need
One time I got all the way to step 6 and was ready to transfer backed up files to the desktop when I started getting a continual looping of the BSOD...with the most recent install, I only got to step 3 before the first BSOD occurred. I have tried running CHKDSK but that does not find anything nor seem to prevent any problems. I ran a memory test via advanced setup (where you press F8 while the OS boots) and that said something like "Problems were detected...you will need to contact your hardware provider" or something to that effect.
However, no specific information was revealed; perhaps a summary is supposed to come up once you reach your desktop but this was during an install where the BSOD was continually looping so I never could see the desktop for more than a few seconds. Reinstalling the original Windows XP OS doesn't seem to fix the problem; regardless of OS, drivers, or other programs installed, the BSOD inevitably shows up and does not seem tied to a specific update, program, or action.

I have a Dell Inspiron 17R (7010) that I bought brand new and only used for about a year. The system keeps crashing, displaying various error codes that range from memory management to bad pool header.I've tried replacing the hard drive, the RAM cards, testing the video card, reinstalling Windows 7 AND flashing the BIOS.I can say that I will absolutely never purchase a Dell again, simply for the customer service. I was a month inside of my warranty when this started happening, and Dell kept putting me off until the remainder of my warranty expired.

So I upgraded my asus p8z68-v lx bios recently to version 4003 and now my desktop is displaying the annoying messages. I also attached the other two HDDs to the SATA ports that were unplugged and might have moved some of the sata cables around in the process. I had this installed by a network admin and I'm pretty sure the windows 7 isn't a fake. It was all working fine until I decided to upgrade my bios and some drivers, then that showed up. Also I don't have a key for it.

For the last couple of weeks (I was just given the laptop) my friends Dell Inspiron has been Blue Screen of Death'ing on start then rebooting (loop on this) - I was able to see the BSOD when I disabled the "reboot on error" and all I get is the following: Blue Screen STOP: 0x0000007B.I cannot get into Safe Mode (same error) to get any dumps (at least I wouldn't know how)I tried Startup Recovery, Last known configuration, Restor points (many of them), Chkdsk, sfc, and bootsec but nothing seems to resolve the problem... The next step is a re-install from the Dell Recovery drive (I hope because I don't have the origial Windows 7 Dell Install CD),
