Computer works fine with XP Pro. W7 can't find drivers for network card. Info from XP says Intel 21143 10/100 Fast ethernet and driver in XP is dc21x4.sys. Intel says no driver available as XP installs correct driver. Where can I find this driver?

Failure To Load Drivers For Intergrated Fast Ethernet
Windows 7 RC installed using clean install over Windows 7 Beta. All was well until I tried to access the Internet via my network and there was no access as it didn't recognize any network. The install created "windows.old." My experience with the Beta was similar, but all I had to do was load the SiS 900 drivers over again and all was well. I tried the same with the RC and it blocks the installation.

3com Fast Ethernet Port Driver
I'm helping my friend fix up his comp, but he lost the drivers to his Ethernet port. He did a clean install of his computer without really talking to me, so all drivers are lost. We installed windows 7 for his main OS, but it doesn't seem to support this driver natively. He had a 3com 3C920B-EMB integrated fast Ethernet controller for the last driver, but finding it now seems to be impossible. If anyone knows anything specific on how i could get the drivers again, or how if theres an updated driver that would work for the same card thats be great. Im pretty sure the Ethernet port is built on the motherboard, its an old hp computer, before they were really reliable IMO. He does not have any of the driver discs or anything, bad with computers .

Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter Driver
I have installed Windows 7, the motherboard is an Asus P5K SE. The latest Vista Lan drivers for this mother board (Atheros L1 gigabit ethernet 10/100/1000 base controller) do not work.Without internet access I cannot activate Windows and it makes the testing and reporting process rather difficult. Any feedback or assistance would be appreciated. PSI have now installed the driver sucessfully using vista compatibility mode.

SiS 900-based PCI-Fast Ethernet Driver
I'm actually running 7 RC(7100) on my kids ECS 661FX-M7 mobo, and decided to run the 7 Advisor.. it came back with "Go to the mfgr website to d/l the latest driver.." for the SiS 900-based PCI-Fast Ethernet, and also should update the RealTek AC'97 audio driver. As I already have 7 running ok on this, what should I do about these recommendations?

IC Plus Ethernet 10/100 Win 7 Driver
Preparing to custom install Win 7 but "adviser" recommends downloading a IC Plus Ethernet Adapter 10/100 for Window 7, and it seems one is not available, closer examination of the mini disc reveals a CNET driver (for XP) (and works) but again, no Win 7 driver available at CNET or on mini disc. And I keep getting directed to some driver all inclusive salesmart, I am upgrading O/S to avoid them in the first place.

No Ethernet Controller Driver
I have a Gigabyte GA-8s661FXM-775 motherboard, an sis 900 PCI fast ethernet adaptor with an intel P4 3.2ghz and I have just installed windows 7 RC as stated in the title (I was running XP Professional) I now have no ethernet controller driver, and I am also missing 2 other drivers (mulitmedia ones) I have been searching all day for a compatible driver, the gigabyte site wasn't any help. Any suggestions?

Yukon Ethernet Controller Errors
I was browsing my Event Viewer when I ran across a series of Event 101 errors, all re: the Marvell Yukon 88E8001/8003/8010 PCI Gigabit Ethernet Controller. There would be a series of identical errors, 6-8 in a row, all with the same time stamp. They repeated once a day, sometimes twice, going back weeks. I never noticed a problem with my Internet connection. I have a wired cable connection. The power has been going out frequently, because of storms. Could that cause the error messages?

Ethernet And Network Controller Issue
I'm running Windows 7 on my laptop for some time now, and I am really satisfied with it. I have just one thing bugging me, since I can´t get it to work as it should. Windows has recognized the "Ethernet Controller" and "Network Controller" as USB devices (therefore I can "Safely remove them"). I was wondering if any of you guys is going through something like that or have any clue on solving this issue.

Base System Device Drivers Not Installed
In Device Manger under "Other Devices" there is an entry titled "Base System Device." The message is " The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28). There is no driver selected for the device information set or element. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver." Also "pci bus 9, device 3, function 2" appears. Needless to say, the "Update Driver Software" nor the Sony Support Website seem to list any drivers. However, everything seems to work but perhaps I haven't used whatever function this driver runs. I'm running a Sony laptop, Model VGN-FW351J. 2.00 gigahertz Intel Core2 Duo, 64 kilobyte primary memory cache, 2048 kilobyte secondary memory cache, 64-bit ready, Multi-core (2 total), Not hyper-threaded.Any suggestions to update (or install) the driver will be greatly appreciated.

Base System Device Drivers Not Installed After Win 7 Pro 64 Bit Clean Installation
I've just clean installed Win 7 Pro 64 bit on a Dell Inspiron 640m laptop with Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 processor (original OS was Vista Ultimate). All appears to have gone well but on checking Device Manager there's a Base System Device entry in Other Devices group which is showing an exclamation mark. On opening this entry it shows "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)" Clicking Update Driver and searching the Internet fails to locate a driver. I didn't install an Intel chipset after the Win 7 install (this computer is almost 3 years old and Dell haven't provided a chipset for Win 7 so I'm assuming chipset support is included in Win 7 out of the box).Could anyone advise if the above is likely to cause any significant problems?
