Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 Built-in Driver Crash After Hibernation
The internet connection is dropped after hibernation and cannot be restored without ipconfig. However, the problem is extended in my case - if I reset my router, and the computer tries to reconnect through it, I suddenly get a BSOD: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

Atheros Driver Problems
I am having a problem with my Ethernet drivers. I have an Asus P5Q SE motherboard and recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and since doing so I have been having a lot of Internet connectivity problems. I keep randomly losing connection to the Internet, I looked into it and it was driver related, so I researched the issue in great detail and found others had experienced it yet no one had a solution, I looked for the most appropriate Ethernet drivers on the Internet on another computer of mine and found that people had experienced the most success with the Windows Vista Atheros Ethernet drivers which were for my motherboard (Asus P5Q SE) . so I downloaded the Vista drivers and installed them and I was surprised to see that it worked I had Internet access again my problem was solved and I thought nothing more of it, but when I came to use my pc again I had no Internet access right from start-up, this annoyed me quite a bit. I then went into the control panel and uninstalled the Vista Atheros drivers to find upon doing so Windows 7 had found the appropriate drivers and automatically installed them, I had the Internet back again I figured it had solved itself, however again when I came to use my computer no Internet from start-up, I still had the Vista drivers on my desktop so i simply re-installed them and again my Internet started to work, but I must constantly install and uninstall these drivers every time I log onto my Windows 7 computer this means they must stay on my desktop at all times. Im taking my computer to a LAN event soon and i really need to sort this issue I hope you can shed some light on this as i cant find stable drivers anywhere .

Atheros L1 Driver Problem
I have a small problem with my W7 drivers for the Atheros L1 network card (ASUS P5KLP motherboard). After I woke up my internet connection wouldn't start anymore and I troubleshooted with the Windows Troubleshoot program, and it pretty much ended saying that the driver was broken, however the only way to fix it was with a system restore or a driver rollback (which I can't do because Windows doesn't allow me to) Anyways, I did a system restore, it did nothing, so I proceeded to get the W7 drivers for the network card, but on install it said that it couldn't find any Atheros L1 network card currently on my computer, therefore could not install, which resulted in 1 hour of looking around for an answer both on other forums and checking the system, but didn't really find anything.

No Built-in Driver: Marvell Yukon NIC
From my understanding the Marvell Yukon NIC is quite popular on several motherboard manufacturers, including Asus. I have an Asus P5B-Deluxe and was shocked to see after loading W7 I had no network connection. Thankfully I had a laptop which was working, so I could download the Marvell driver. Given that NICs are vitally important, I hope MS can include Marvell drivers in the RC and RTM releases.  I'm using this driver: http://www.marvell.com/drivers/driverDisplay.do?driverId=154

Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter Driver
I have installed Windows 7, the motherboard is an Asus P5K SE. The latest Vista Lan drivers for this mother board (Atheros L1 gigabit ethernet 10/100/1000 base controller) do not work.Without internet access I cannot activate Windows and it makes the testing and reporting process rather difficult. Any feedback or assistance would be appreciated. PSI have now installed the driver sucessfully using vista compatibility mode.

NVidia Driver Crash And BSOD
Well this time it isn't a hardware problem. Like I said, I've been starting to get random, yes completely random, nvidia driver crashes. My screen will flash a few times and eventually just BSOD. Basically I've tried reinstalling drivers and rolling back drivers but the problem persists. I installed vista on a separate partition thinking there was some kind of weird conflict and whadya know, Vista, of all things!!, works perfectly. That's how I know it's software. So my question to you guys is, is there anyway for me to fix this without reinstalling 7? I have a lot of data on there and it would be a major hassle for me. Secondly, is there any way to reinstall 7 but to keep all of my settings and files? Like literally just replacing the OS files. If there isn't I guess I just have to face the music and copy everything to the other partition and then copy it back ..

ATI 9.8 Driver Crash On Resolution Change
I have 2 RTM copies of Windows 7 I'm testing both are 64bit and both normally have ATI cards installed (one is a 4650 the other a 4870). The problem is I get a BSOD doing the following: 1. Change resolution 2. Change Refresh rate 3. Change Primary/secondary monitors 4. Load a game that changes the resolution The following do not: 1. Setting Over-scan 2. Setting 3d settings 3. Under clocking GPU [Anything else on the system including playing games that do not change the resolution]. I have about 20 hours into setting up this system and have already wasted an activation on it. I need a way to adjust the resolution without a BSOD occurring every time (note changes are lost). I'm looking for some kind of solution to this issue.

BS Crash And Driver Issue - Adfs.sys
This AM I had my first Blue Screen - right after booting I clicked to change a background Image and got an odd error 'Page Error in Non Paged' and that was all I got before screen flipped away In the Sytem Event Log I have two critical events 41. The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. and 100: The scheduled diagnostic task detected that the computer maintenance check is in state 0. A: what logfile can I recover the BlueScreen details form? B: might this be related? Code integrity determined that the image hash of a file is not valid. The file could be corrupt due to unauthorized modification or the invalid hash could indicate a potential disk device error. File Name: DeviceHarddiskVolume2WindowsSystem32driversadfs.sys My Beta is installed on a machine where I ran diagnotics and tested both drives integrity before installing. SO - any ideas folks?

LAN Overload Causes Network Adapter Driver Crash
I've been having a pretty annoying problem lately. My setup is based on two computers, one server and one gaming rig. I've mapped all the disks from the server over to my gaming rig so that I can access my files easily over the LAN. This has been working perfectly for quite some time, but recently I've gotten pretty major problems with it. This is what happens: When I transfer a lot of files over the LAN, either it can from the gaming rig -> server, or just using the interface to transfer something between the disks on the server (from my gaming PC) eventually everything will crash. Streaming video, music or other stuff works perfectly, but when I start trasfering like 50gb between the disks the network-adapter driver on the gaming rig crashes. The server maintains in perfect condition. And when the driver crashes the gaming rig the explorer.exe process freeze and I can't shut the computer down, and it forces me to hit the power-switch. However once I've rebooted everything is back to normal. I've looked around in the even viewer which is where I found what I think is the source of the problem. Here is a screenshot of the messages I'm getting once the driver goes boom: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v373/murfh/yukonw7.png?t=1262447496 I haven't found any other events that are related to this matter (stuff that happens at the same time... etc etc). Note: It does not matter whether I transfer stuff around on the server or from my gaming rig --> server. I this the fact that I've mapped the drives through my gaming rig, and controls them from there is the source here. If I transfer files from the interface on the server (through remote desktop etc.) everything goes like it should. What have I tried to fix this? I've reinstalled the network driver several times and goggled a lot, but I've yet to find a working solution. Additional information: Processor: Core2 Quad CPU Q9450 @ 3.6GHz (4 CPUs), Memory: 8192MB RAM Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 + ATI Radeon x1550 Monitor: 40"+26"+24" Sound Card: Creative SB X-Fi Platinum Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit RC Motherboard: Asus Maximus Formula Computer Case: Lian Li P80 Note: I've never had this problems like this before, and W7 worked perfectly for almost half a year with the same hardware that I'm running now without any problems what so ever. I thereby hope some of you might have some input on this, because I'm making me go insane at the moment.

HP PAVILION Built-in Webcam
Who knows how many people complained for following issue BUILT-IN WEBCAM WON'T WORK UNDER WINDOWS 7RC! All right, I have the same problem, but I just could't find similar thread on any forum. So, I installed win7 RC over win 7 beta (clean install not an update). Everything went smoothly, drivers all found and instaled, device manager showing no yellow exclamation triangles. Every bit of hardware is in place, everything works perfectly according to system diagnostic. BUT, webcam shows no picture. Driver is properly installed and has no collisions with other system resources. Interesting thing was, that camera was working excellent under win 7 beta. I don't know what has changed in win 7RC, but camera just won't start. If anyone has any solution or similar issue, please don't hesitate to post a reply. Oh yeah, my configuration: HP PAVILION dv 6670el Entertainment PC intel core2duo 2.0 GHz 2GB RAM 160GB HDD NVIDIA 8400gs video card HP built-in webcam (at least that's what system information says) 1.3Mpix

Built-in H 264 Codec Glitches
I am having troubles with the Win7 built-in H264 codec. It seems to be buggy and produces some blocky artifacts in a few of my videos (I am trying to play a MP4 container with H264/AAC). This shouldn't be too much of a problem since 3rd party codecs do render the video just fine. But... I can use these 3rd party codecs in other DirectShow players, but WMP always seems to fall back to the built-in codec, whatever I try! What can MS do to fix this situation? I don't really care whether the built-in codec gets fixed, or WMP loads 3rd party plug-in, but as it currently stands, I can't watch my video in WMP.

Why No Built-in RAW Image Support ?
There is a RAW image viewer power toy available for XP which doesn't seem to work with 7. It would be nice to not even have to go through the trouble of installing the power toys and just have them built right in to the OS. Another useful one that comes to mind is the Image Resizer. I think one of my biggest gripes with all versions of Windows is having to go and install applications that are used for common computing tasks such as viewing / editing images.
