Since installing windows 7 i have the problem that when typing on my Asus pro 80 laptop the cursor frequently jumps to somewhere else in the text fields. This can happen in any application from word to like now where I am typing into a forum.
I am fairly certain that this is not a hardware problem as the laptop worked perfectly before doing a clean install from Vista .
What I have noticed is that the device manager shows two devices with drivers missing , but it cannot identify what the devices are. I have attached the screen shots showing this . maybe this has nothing to do with the keyboard issue.
Any help would be really appreciated as my lap top is virtually unusable as it is .
I ,slowly, prepare my migration to Win 7 Pro X64.The new PC is there and I install the products. The Motherboard is an ASUS PP8P67 Pro .I do not find some drivers.I did find the others but not these 2.I have made a request on ASUS site but I have no response
Next week i'm getting new pc with this motherboard Asus P6T SE with i7 920 processor. Asus didn't yet release drivers for Windows 7, that's why i'm wondering if Windows 7 RC 1 will work.
Should I try to install drivers that I got on cd with motherboard or what? And if they won't work? What do I do then?
I heard something about running the installation in Windows Vista compatibility. Can someone explain a bit please? Will it then work if I do that?

I've installed W7 (32-bit version) on my desktop with a asus socket 939 motherboard: a8r-mvp. But now i'm looking for drivers for my motherboard. I don't have any sound now and i'm experiencing some artefacts in certain games. I'm using catalyst for my Ati x800Gto2 from the vista 32 bit OS now..
I've been searching high and low for these drivers, ASUS' driver installers for Vista64 don't recognise Windows 7, and it seems they use the same installer for XP and Vista32.
My monitor is being forced to 59Hertz and thus not allowing games to enable vertical sync.
I have all the latest nVidia drivers (185.85 W7x64 / 9600GT), and all my m/board and chipset drivers are x64 and up to date.
I installed windows 7 version 64 bits in my M50VN but I see some problems with my notebook.
I installed windows vista x64 drivers from asus CD and of the site of asus, but I continue with problems in some hardware components

I have an Asus P5N32-SLI Deluxe Motherboard with 4 GB of memory, an ATI 4800 series Video, running the latest BIOS version 502. My primary HD is a Raptor 150DB and my secondary is a 400GB WD. My DVD is a Plextor PX-775A. They are all SATA.
This problem crosses both platforms; 32bit and 64bit, It also does not matter if I have upgraded or preformed a fresh install of Windows 7.
Note: This problem has been apparent in EVERY official release of Windows 7 and all leaks up though the last leak of 7264 (64 bit).
Note: This problem does NOT happen in Vista, either platforms (32 or 64 bit).
I have absolutely no problem installing Windows 7. It runs absolute smoothly after the install. The problem happens when transferring single large files. I get a BSOD after a few minutes into the transfer. This also happens when Acronis does a backup of the system.
I did buy and install a new Gigabyte motherboard and new memory. The problem went away, as I knew it would. However Windows 7 ran so much slower I RMA'ed the motherboard and memory.
I feel that it might be the chipset drivers? Which I have installed the Vista64 bit chipset driver, which seemed to cause the BSOD even faster.
The dump file was analyzed and I was told it was pointing to an nvida driver problem with my video?
I want drivers for my sound card. actually its working properly, but i an using 5.1 channel speakers, so, its not properly giving output for 5.1 channel, but stereo works properly, i.e. 2.1 speakers. My mixer helps to do the same. And Asus wifi solo, if possible for windows 7.
so i will be doing a fresh install in a week so i wanted to make sure i have all the proper drivers. I went ahead and went to each manufacturers website to get the latest ones instead of dl them from asus since they r outdated.so just making sure am i good to go? these should be the latest for my mobo(asus mobo website- ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download M4A87TD EVO)Lan- Realtek[CODE]
I have a Asus M3A78-T motherboard with a raid 0 array with dual boot. I'm trying to install windows 7 on the second partition but when I try installing the os it says I'm missing drivers. I would think that windows 7 has the required raid drivers needed but I have no idea what is wrong. Any thoughts?
