ATI Radeon HD4850 Driver Doesn't Install And It Doesn't Work
I had Windows 7 Beta today and I started to install programmes that are important. My Windows is a 64 bits version. When I tried to install the ATI drive it always start but then it doesn't work, ALWAYS CRASH.

I have Radeon HD 3850 AGP and Windows 7, and I tried to do almost everything ... I installed 9.12 drivers, 9.12 drivers with adding CL_91526 from the topic above), 9.11 drivers, 9.11 drivers with Hotfix (ATI), 9.11 drivers with adding CL_91526, manual driver install by right click . Absolutely no changes and everytime the same ... During and after installing (before reboot) no changes in Device Manager, having "ATI Radeon 3850 " (or "ATI Radeon 3800 series" or something like that...) with yellow triangle and Microsoft Co. driver. And after reboot no changes with it, an error message with something like "Driver didn't install correctly, please install proper driver" ( though in ATI install log you can see that everything was installed succesfully). So after reboot I still see my VGA like "ATI Radeon 3800 series" with Microsoft driver and of course no changes in monitor resolution and all. If I try to delete microsoft driver (and device), and then install radeon drivers , during installation I absolutely just don't have any VGA in Device manager. And after reboot Windows 7 "finds" VGA and install from internet microsoft driver, so I can see "ATI Radeon HD 3850 (Microsoft Corporation WDDM 1.1)" in Device Manager. I think that radeon drivers don't install (or don't install correctly), and Windows 7 ignores (or doesn't see) them.

Driver For USB Functionality Doesn't Work
I'm running the german version of Windows 7 x64, so here is the original message I get when I click on "USB" in the menu-bar: "Der für die USB-Funktionalität erforderliche Virtualisierungstreiber funktioniert nicht." It's something like this in english: "The driver necessary for the SUB-functionality doesn't work." The problem appeared after I installed VMWare if I remember right (didn't use XP-Mode for a while). It worked well before. All other features, like the integration features, work well. I uninstalled VMWare and reinstalled XP-mode but it didn't help. Any hints? Edit: SecurAble said "Yes" to the given features

Can't Install ATI Radeon 9550 / X1050 Driver
I'm unable to install the driver created on 30th December 2008 for my above named graphics card. I have tried using the ATI catalyst, but still no desktop wallpaper..... Any ideas? Ok i have now managed to install the driver, but still no desktop wallpapers appearing when set...?

Start Computer Doesn't Work
If I click on Start-Computer the screen appears, the green line takes about 1 min 30 secs to fill the address bar, and then it just pulses and nothing appears in the window. It's been going now for TEN minutes. If I do Start-All Programs-Accessories-Windows Explorer and click on the Computer link in the L/H pane, the items appear instantly. What's going on with Start-Computer?

HP PSC 1315 DOESN'T WORK
I've installed Windows 7, and after all, I started to install all my system devices. No problems at all. But I stuck with a problem on my printer HP PSC 1315 All-in-one. HP has a driver for Vista (32 and 64bit), and since I'm using Windows 7 x64 I tried to download the 64bit driver for Vista, as long as the system looks like the same. Well, the HP software doesn't start. It says an error cause is not developed for that system. So, I plugged in the usb cable and turned on the printer to see if Windows has a driver for it. It seems to be working, no undetected or not installed software. The printer is working fine, and the scanner is installed, but couldn't be found from any program. Tried Photoshop CS4 64bits, there's no option there, and from many many others. I remember that on Vista, it installs normally with a basic driver from Microsoft. Anyone having the same problem with all-in-one printers from HP or this exactly one and may help? I tried lot of things, no success at all.

Printer HP F4200 Doesn't Work
I have installed on windows 7 release evaluation the driver for the HP Printer F4200. IT doesn't work. Is there an other driver for this printer or what can I do. At Homepage from HP is written that you can use the driver from the windows 7 system.

Creative ALchemy Doesn't Appear To Work
Couldn't find a discussion on this in a few threads, so I'll start a new post. If I rehash an old question, apologies in advance. It doesn't look like Creative ALchemy is working as expected. It's possible that it's a specific game that has a problem with ALchemy and Win7, but I'm not really sure how to perform a better test to be certain. Anyway, on my Vista box with ALchemy installed, I have four games that can benefit by the program. One of them is F.E.A.R. In Vista with F.E.A.R. not 'enabled' with ALchemy, the hardware and eax options within the game's options/sound menu are greyed out, indicating it can't utilize the advanced sound features of my X-Fi card. Once enabled, the options are available, and I notice an immediate difference when enabling them. In Win7, regardless of whether F.E.A.R. is enabled or disabled, the sound options are never available. So, again, not sure if it's F.E.A.R. or ALchemy, but there are three other games that I am not really able to tell if EAX is working or not. These include World of Warcraft, Diablo II, and Star Wars Galaxies. Not sure if anyone has a workaround or solution, but I wanted to share the details regardless.

KeyBoard Doesn't Work After A Minute Or So
if I restart my computer, about the half the time my keyboard stops working after a minute. I get the chance to log-in, I open internet explorer, and start typing in a URL and it randomly stops. I can't do anything else with the keyboard. So then I have to restart and see if it works from there. If it continues to work I can keep typing pretty much forever. I went to get the driver for my computer, but when I install it I get an error message "Operating System is not supported, Set up will now exit." That is the windows vista driver. Currently I am running a Dell XPS1530, it had Vista 32bit and I installed 32 bit 7 on here. Any ideas?

Printer Hp 3325 Doesn't Work
I used to use the hp 3325 printer with win xp but now with windows 7 I need a new driver for it so where is am able to download it or how to fix this as after installing the xp driver on windows 7 the computer doesn't read the printer or find it.

Network Switch Doesn't Work
I've got a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li 2727. Having loaded Windows 7 into a spare partition I have to  use Fn+F2 to switch my wireless on but It doesn't seem to work in W7 (build 7100RC). If I boot up into Vista on the other partition it works fine - I can switch on the wireless and get Internet access. Any comments?

Network Icon Doesn't Work Sometimes
Sometimes, the network icon in the taskbar doesn't work. I click on it, and the window which should appear and show me all available WiFi networks just doesn't. The only solution i have found is to restart the computer. It doesn't get better if i wait.Have you noticed it too ? What would be the cause of this problem ?

Switching Users Doesn't Work
I used Netplwiz to set my logon to "automatic" for my main user account. That being the case seems to override Switch User -- I can't.It starts to log off to allow the switch, and then comes right back in on the same account.Is this how it should be?

Win 7 Backup Doesn't Work
i installed windows 7, and everything seemed to work fine. installed a bunch of programs, they also all seem to work. but then i decided to do some backups; i created the rescue cd using windows, and then cloned the hard drive also using windows 7. but then i noticed the backup program, and decided to click on "set up backup"; nothing happens. if i try the same from a disk drive/properties (ie click on backup there) nothing happens either. any ideas? maybe something i installed broke this, but it seems like a pretty basic function to break like this.

Problem With Codec (ffdshow Doesn't Work)
I have windows 7 RC since few days and I have very big problem with films and codecs. In all films and all players system doesn't use ffdshow for video decoding. I installed ffdshow and other codecs pack and always is the same problem. I tried Windows 7 Codec Pack too. Is any way to force windows to use ffdshow to decode video ? Only Windows Media Player Classic uses ffdshow becuase I made this trick: Media Center Decoder Utility (MCDU) Finally Comes to Windows 7 | Hacking Windows 7 Media Center but I want playing films in all player using ffdshow codec.

Mouse/Pointer Options Doesn't Work
Has anyone else found that the "Snap To" under Mouse/Pointer Options doesn't work? Or does anyone know how to get it to work? It worked fine in XP and I have tried in Windows 7 with old mouse and with a new one but it doesn't work. Not a major problem but I would like to get it to work.

MCE Remote Doesn't Work After Reboot
My MCE remote has been working perfectly since the instllation of Windows 7 RC1, howeer recently it has stopped responding after reboots forcing me to uninstall the "Microsoft eHome Infrared Transceiver" driver from the device manager and walla, it works again. My infrared receiver is built into my machine. This behavior started about a week ago. Has anyone experienced this issue and if so have you found a solution?

Dsl Modem Doesn't Work After Reboot
so i have two laptops, Acer1(7 home premium) and Acer2(XP) and a dsl modem plugged via ethernet to Acer1. I will share the internet from Acer1 wirelessly to Acer2. So on Acer1, I create a ad-hoc network and everything and Acer2 is able to connect to it. If i reboot Acer1, I have to connect to the network I created and it brings it up, Acer2 connects to it but doesn't have internet access. Sometimes it will kick me off my LAN connection and I won't have any internet through either computer. but if I go in and create a new ad-hoc network, it works fine.

IDE Hard Drive Doesn't Work
I had Windows XP, then installed Windows 7 32bit Ultimate on IDE hard drive. HOW CAN I FORMAT THE IDE HARD DRIVE SO AS TO DO A CLEAN INSTALL? When putting CD in and pressing Intall. I wanted to Format my 40Gig IDE hard drive (that I use for windows intallation only). So as to start CLEAN install. The CD recognised my hard drives. 250Gig SATA and 40Gig IDE....however would not let me format either or change in any way.....something about load driver?? VIA 6140 something. So instead I thought to boot the disk and try that way. It didnt recognise the IDE hard drive at all. anyway I chose to do it the first way once I found that driver I mentioned. I installed windows on woindows, then deleted the windows.old file afterwords.

USB WiMax Adapter Doesn't Work
I have a Motorola USBw 25100 wi Max adapter set up for Clear networks on my laptop. I have not been able to get the laptop to recognise the device and use it. I am using the device on another of my computers and it works well with XP. I have installed the software on the W7 laptop and it seems to work- it can not find the USB adapter when I try to connect. Any ideas or is any one else using a similar Wi-Max network adapter?
