I have had my computer for about 3 weeks now and have been using WMP11 w/o a problem ripping music to folders. Yesterday i did 10 cd's and then put one in and now will no longer recognize album, artist, or title, just numbers.
View 5 RepliesA month ago my laptop crashed , and I brought it to the store, and now they fixed it but 2 weeks ago I noticed there's no sound anymore When I play my song, I click on the sound icon, and it shows there is sound, ( my speakers are default)but I can't hear a thing! I also checked if something was on mute. Nothing is muted I also plugged in external speakers and a headphone, and I still couldn't hear sound. my operating system is vista premium.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIve sorted all my music into folders, but some don't have artist/album names, such as: i've right clicked and clicked rename, but it comes up as: i've also clicked properties etc, but no joy there: has anyone any idea how to do this? im on Windows Vista Basic.and its just your average folder. its really bugging me!

Vista, AMD Turion 64x2, 2048RAM, 140Gb.When playing music from files the sound always breaks up towards the end of every song, if playing from Memory Stick (that transferred some of the files) or CD it's OK.I bought the Laptop partly for use as a mobile music/video centre so how do I cure this problem?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently backed up my iPod to a folder on my external, and when I go to search for a certain song in the folder it shows up with "no results" when I know it is clearly in there. I have tried the indexing thing or whatever, and maybe I messed something up? Not sure, but it is really bothering me. I have spent the whole day trying to figure this out.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a problem in my laptop vista ultimate 46 bit the problem is I cant change any details of all mp3 files such as the name of artist, album, genre and the title on the mp3 file itself. I tried lots of solutions such as download k-lite mega codec and divx and the problem still. Also on the details pane on the bottom of each folder. I am waiting for your solution cause I had this problem before twice and I formated the laptop but this time I want a real solution
