I am having difficulty registering FLVSplitter.ax I copied this file to windpws/system32. I clicked the.ax file, selected Properties, then clicked Change. Browsed to System32, selected regsvr32.exe, clicked Open, then OK. I then clicked on the ax file to register it. I got the message: "module c:windowssystem32FLVSplitter.ax was loaded, but call to DLLRegister Server Failed Error Code: 0x80070005"
View 5 RepliesLast night it was fine, turned it off and went to bed, got up thismorning and turned it on, windows can't find any networks. I click "diagnose why..." and it says that my laptop doesn't have a wireless NIC or the drivers are out of date! but nothing changed, and it's not the router it's working fine.

doesn't work and WMP won't play audio tracks (dvds still work, oddly enough) when that started happening I got messages at start up, they are:
Hp quickplay was stopped working cvlcap module (or somthing close to that, I forgot the first part, I know it ends in cap but it might be cvcl or something) has stopped
working and occasionally it would say the disk defraggmentor was stopped working even when I'm just browsing the internet and it's not even open.
those aren't that big a deal, but I really need my NIC working again, I'm running an Avast! virus scan right now but I don't think that it the problem.
on a side note, what do ye nerds think of Avast!? being free seems to good to be true, but I've seen store baught antivirus that is obvisously much worse (defender pro comes to mind.)
New computer.Keyboard not typing properly.DELL disabled background programs, side bar and upper horizontal icons on monday. 1 mth free Mcafee came with computer. Today I checked SECURITY CENTRE and it says: Warning,the security centre has not recorded an antivirus product.Cause: either its not installed or not recognized. solution: verify that its installed. Disabling programs DOESNT delete them does it? i'm sure i saw Mcafee in the files somewhere. How do i confirm for myself its still installed? and how do i verify to security centre that its installed. there were no options to click on.
