I recently upgraded to a new computer with Vista Home Preimum 64 bit and have encountered a bit of a problem. I am able to download and install ManyCam for Vista (64 bit). However, I am having a problem with it. When I open the program and select my cam on the source page, I get a message that there was a problem with the program and it closes. I have done the uninstall and re-install of both the ManyCam and the Philips SPC 900 NC webcam.

I have a logitech webcam, but i don't find this driver on my system, at least not by doing a start/search for it. I also have a CL audigy SE sound card, but the 2 drivers listed as problematic, don't show up in a start/search. Someone else mentioned that they have an Audigy Card and had no problems installing. has anyone had a problem with SP1 because of a logitech webcam? has anyone installed SP1 WITH a logitech webcam?
Perhaps this is the wrong newsgroup for getting information on the use of a web cam but, if it is, please point me in the right direction. I can't find a newsgroup for webcams.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Vista pc will not work with webcams in general, my son has the same pc and has not problems with the same web cam or any other web cam and software. It just seem to be my pc, is there any setting. I've tried different software and drives on my pc and have tried a life cam from microsoft and still no luck. Both pc are more then capable to cope with the job at hand.
